Ok, I'm trying to lose weight but I get bored often and I've found that I eat when I get bored, even if I'm not hungry at all. What are some things to do when I get bored?? I mean, I live in a place where you have to drive 15 minutes to the nearest mall or movie place so shopping isnt an option. And I'm only 13 so I can't drive...What are some fun, random things to do around the house?

Try talking to people on the phone or aim. You could read a book...stuff like that. Try to stay away from the kitchen and wherever food is so you aren't tempted!!! Hang out with friends who live close by. There's a lot of stuff to do instead of eating all day. Hope i helped!!!

You can like make up dances or sing if not that then rent a movie or 2 ans watch them!

Engage in as many social activities as possible.

If that isn't possible. Uhh, go on a walk or whatever.
Or you can go all whoa and lock up the fridge and cupboards.

Well...15 minutes really isn't that long...

-Workout...rent one of those aerobics movies and try it...its actually quite fun
-Dance around...
-Take a bubble bath!
-Draw,write poetry...or even a book!
-invite friends over to hang out
-take care of your pets
-Read a book

hi. i say this to every one but im a kick boxer. and one thing you can do is keep healthy snacks around the house so when you eat you are eating good food. not any thing that is going to make you big.please wright back and score me please.

When I'm bored, I listen to music and dance. I bring my boombox and I dance in my basement, but every time I go with a bottled water so when I get hot from dancing and working out, I won't have to walk into the kitchen (and think about food). You could also use the computer and go to website such as:

You could also call a friend, go to the movie theater, or order a movie on your tv (some people with cox can just order movies and watch it on their television).

do ab workouts with some music on so its fun while you are doing it and you can get in shape. or take a jog around the block, with a headset radio on. have fun!

well you know how you eat when your bored? To be full so you wont wanna eat, or even think of food is for you to drink 2 cups of water, then eat some kind of fruit. An Apple or grapes? those are juicy fruits and it will fill you up. then you want snack.
i dunno any random things to do lol. sorry but im sure the advice i just gave you might help. And also you eat and drink slowly during every meal, so you eat less, but get full, and your body will burn fat.

that has happened to many people...when there bored they eat try excersing [spelling?] instead of that or what i really like to do when i get bored is jump on a trampoline its a lotta fun and good excersise or make up your own things to do that make you active invite a friend or 2 to take a 30 minute bike ride up and down a few hills or something

Try exercising when you get bored! DDR is a great thing. It is a fun, semi-addictive game that makes you exercise. Works for me! ^^

Or exercise your creativity! Write stories, draw, take pictures.

You can surf the web too!

Or find a project. Build something, learn about something, anything that gives you something to do.

Or, if you can't help but munch, get healthier snacks. Mini rice cakes are good.

omg i have the same problem. my mom sed my stomach was gettin a little big nd if i kept eatin i would start getting fat. i have absolutely nothing to do so i try to exercise. wheneever im about to eat for no reason i exercise or dance. or i read stories on sony music forums, its really not boring cuz the stories r like x rated lol. hope i helped

Well hun you could try doin some sports with the family you kno just have fun together or maybe draw or do some crafts or baking listening to music,watch movies, just enjoy being a kid.Hang with your family and call friends over too. <3

wow that happens to me all the time, when i dont feel like going out an im bored at home im usually on the computer which keeps me somewhat busy...or i paint my nails and toe nails which also keeps me busy. i sometimes go outside and listen to music or read (even though i dont really like reading) which keeps me away from any food...hope i helped

i know this sounds terrible but you can clean your room. sometimes i run around the house even though my mother doesnt appreciate it and it can help you loose weight and keep you from eating. if you have a swimming pool do a few laps. when i watching TV i do crunches. sign up for a dance class or something like a musical instrument. draw even if you arent any good. i write poems when i am really bored. if you like to read thats always a boredom buster
