I am 14/f and i am 5'6'' and i weigh around 160 lb
(my scale isnt accurate...)
but people ALWAYS mistake me for around 140 pound
and i know i am fat...ohh harsh me.. i mea overweight. but i do try to lose weight.
i exercise regularly. every monday wednesday and friday (it was on health magz that its not good for you if you exercise everyday when you get older) anyways so i lost 10 pounds around already yes i know i was even fat loser then.
and i dont eat alot, although i snack sometime like eating desert like little bit of ice cream but not a lot.
so what is normal for my height and weight and my age? and how can i get my self to stay exercising?
because during those times i been quiting in and out and technically i only exercised for a month
or 2. so its pretty good losing 10 lb in those month because i dont want saggy skin...talk about ew. no offense... to people who do have those ...
anyways and i am thick in the leg. and arm... and i cant do lifting dumbels anymore because i kinda got hurt from that...
so how do i get my legs to be slender?
and keep on track and any tips on losing weight faster?
please i need help ! i havent had a boyfriend ever! i know people say its not about what's on the outside becaue then its not true love or stuff but i really want a boyfriend and i WANT to look good for him (well future bf ) and i want to feel better about my self...
slender legs - jogging for 30 minutes

you probably have a slow metabolisim
skipping meals will slow it down even more.
drinking diet soda will also slow it down.

Lots of exercise. Plus, the more you playy, the better you get, and the better you get, the harder songs you can do. Harder songs burn more calories.
And eat healthy. Small amounts of stuff like icecream are okay, but not often. If you have, say, one scoop every week or so, it won't kill you. But try to look for healthier alternatives. Like sorbet!
Make sure you keep track of your snacks. Know exactly what and how much you eat.
Good, heathy snacks will help you loose weight. Try mini rice cakes. Very tasty!

Not all at once though, ill do maybe 10 minutes every hour for 6 hours. And drink a lot of water. Cut out all junk food. No more ice cream or desserts. When you see those foods, think to yoruself "have 5 minutes of good food or have a lifetime of being overweight." There are a lot of good foods that are healthy and taste good. There are so many excersizes you can do. but I reccommend the FIRM. Im not trying to be rude trust me but thats what it said. It said you are overweight. Diet and exercise required! Its good that you are doing all that && you just need to try to stick to it! Just keep telling your self you can do this! And you will feel so much better when you loose more weight! Honestlly if you stick to it you will be so proud!! Drink tons of water! Even tho you will pee a lot its really healthy for you and you will burn calories and fat faster. When you have a craving for sweets eat like a bananna or a fruit salad or even a healthy smoothie. If you didnt have a boyfriend its not because of your weight. That what you may think but these days guys are just so.. I dont know they dont really try to get to know you if you dont look the way they like girls to look like. Its such BS! vintagerose answered Thursday July 21 2005, 9:23 pm: oh honney! i feel for you! ok, so i'll start with this, you want your body mass to be around 18-23. that would be healthy ( to find you body mass multiply your weight by 704.5 then devide it by you height in inches and then devide it by your height in inches again. you should get your body mass) ok.
it is fine to induldge sometimes, and keep a regular eating scedual. and ALWAYS have breakfast, no matter what!
to keep exercising just picture that guy you want and how you want to look good for him. it is easy to get down on youself and tell yourslef its no use, but every little thing counts. and extra run up and down the stairs a day, just anything!
i am so happpy you have lost 10 pounds already; that is great! now you know how great it feels to loose weight and you should be even more determinded to loose even mnore!
about the saggy skin, dont worry about it, i only know of one case that the man was left with saggy skin, but that was after he lost like 200 pounds in a year.
try long walks uphill. always uphill because it thinns your calfs and tightens up you booty! to get your thighs thinner try leg lifts. You have no idea how amazing crunches are. they help flatten your stomach sooooo much!
now about a guy. dont let your weight hold you back. really, guys might notice if your a bit big, but sometimes they like a little junk in the trunk. and dont be fooled by thinking guys only go in looks, they care for the personality. although it is true they will only approach a hot skinny girl, but if you approach them and just be nice, you'll be making frinds in no time, and maybe more than friends....

x0blu3eyedbeautyx0 answered Thursday July 21 2005, 9:03 pm: OK i totally get wut you're saying...im am totally athletically challenged but i'm going to joi9n volleyball next yr which i lik, now wen skool cums around if they hav a sport that you like you should definitly try out for because moving around burns carbs, gives you muscle, makes you fit, gives you faster metabolism and burns pounds off! now i kno of a really great diet if u lik fish nd veggies...uz there is alot of it in this diet..the Southbeach Diet..my mom nd sister are on it nd have lost ALOT of weight lik you have no idea! it works really good but you have to eat what it tells you to eat and they have certain dessert you can eat! if you dont want a planned diet then when you eat try splitting your meals into 5 small meals it will speed up your metabolism...nd wen you eat eat slow because your brain takes 20 mins to realize your full...so alot of ppl over eat because they don't kno that! nd i dont kno about you but i cnat do push ups so a great alternative is doing wall pushes..lean your hands against the wall and have your feet about 2 feet away from the wall nd push aganst the wall with all your weight and do it as if you're doing pushups..they're really easy so start with 50 a day then move up to 200 a day..it sounds liek alot but it's actually really easy! To get a toned stomache do crunches which are easier than sit ups nd work twice as much better! bike riding will slender your legs..to lose weight over all cardio is what you need to do..you could join a gym or you can do cardio at home by running up and down a flight of stairs or doing jumping jacks! i hope i helped..x0x *caitie*
jcsgrlthe1st answered Thursday July 21 2005, 8:48 pm: amazingly...its better if you eat just like 5 small meals a day rather than 3 big ones, because it boosts your metabolism. i entered your info onto a BMI (body mass index) and your BMI came out to be 25.9 normal is 19-24...i know if you cut out sodas and drink a lot of water that will help you lose some weight. maybe go jogging around the block a few times.
