well if your talking to a person of the opposite sex, this is what i do, i say what color is your underwear and it usually picks up a good convo! glad i could help if i did, ne thing else then drop one in my box iight! x3Hannah

Think of something totally bazaar or ask a question that no one would think of.. Or just silly ones that spark people's imagination like, "If we were stranded on an island with no food to feed us what would you do?" Then before you know it one conversation leads to another and you are talking something far from being stranded on an island.

A great one that people don't usually think of is childhood. "What were you like as a little kid? What kinds of stupid stuff did you do?"
That kept my boyfriend and me on the phone for literally three hours.
You often find a lot out about someone by asking what they were like as a kid.
If you like to debate, talk about religion, and what you REALLY think happens after death. (Slightly morbid, but it is a good conversation topic.)
