Tracing phone numbers
I just got a really nasty prank phone call. I never give out my number to anyone that I don't know and I couldn't recognize the voice. They were asking me if I'd like to participate in a lesbian teen porn video so I played along and said yes. When they called, it was a restricted number. I was wondering if there was any way I could figure out the number without having to get the police involved. Just so I can figure out who it was that called. They called my cell phone by the way. So, is there a way I can trace the number?

yes you can find out. go to your cell phone place like verison or cingular or what ever your cell phone place is and tell them to list your calls and trace the one that was restricted

If the numbeR was RestRicted, theRe's nothing you can Really do about it. HoweveR, foR those calls that aRe NOT RestRicted, you can dial *69 foR the last numbeR called. And I know you said you don't want to get the police involved, but if these calls continue and get real bad, you can dial *59 RIGHT afteR they call. This will RepoRt the numbeR to the phone company, and afteR the THIRD time they call the numbeR is blocked, and MAYBE the police aRe aleRted? I'm not POSIVITE about THAT part though. SoRRie I can't be of moRe help to you. I guess if you would like to know moRe, it would be a good idea to call youR telephone pRovideR. :)

i dont know of a way to trace the number, but ir might not even be some one you know because when people prank phone call people, a lot of times they jsut dial a random number.

You could always press *69 if they call back again and it will either tell you the number that called last or it would say who called. this may nt work but it could.

usually with prank fone calls people just call any random number. so chances are you dont know the person. but i believe its *69

Hey! you can't track a resticted number on your cellphone BUT you can restict your number on your cellphone so when you call out no one knows your number and it comes out to be unknown. check recent calls. or do *67. if that doesn't work get a bunch of your friends and be like "do u guys want to do this lesbian porn with me" around some people that you think did it. if you see some idiots laughing you caught your little prankster punks.

Well, I guess theres a new site that lists people's numbers, but I'm not so sure about celphones being listed. I don't think you can trace the number. What is most likely, is that they were dialing random numbers until they got a girl, I know people who do that. I don't think you really need to worry about it, they can't do anything to you really. If you get called again, then you should tell the police, but I think it was just stupid people being bored. Good Luck. <3 Lana

i just got a nasty prank call last night, it was a restricted number and they called my cellphone. if they called my house they have to show their number cuz we have blocked calls from restricted numbers.. but this one last night, sounded like my sister, saying that i was pregnant and that the babys going to die.. i just hung up because no matter who it was, its not going to bother me. the only way that you can trace a number if there is a number that you can use to find who called you, i dont know any other ways, but dont let them bother you, it was probably one of your friends you used to be friends with who did that, cuz it happened to me plenty of times. dont let them get to ya!

usually with a private # sometimes *96 will work but idk if it does on cell phones. you cant but i dont think you should worry about it was just prob one of you friends was with someone and they called as long as you didnt give out any info like your house # or anything i think you will be fine.

go to your phone and dial *69 if they were the last people to call. if they knew your cell number it has to be someone who knows you.
