DancingKiwi123 answered Sunday July 3 2005, 7:32 pm: if you wear a tampon then yes go swimming but if you don't then i would still go even if i couldn't swim. just say you forgot your swimming suit or sumthing. don't let your period ruin your fun! ~Kerri~ [ DancingKiwi123's advice column | Ask DancingKiwi123 A Question ]
Ambix3 answered Sunday July 3 2005, 3:21 pm: If you want to swim, I would wear a tampon. A pad might fall out, and I don't think you would want that to happen! Don't miss out having fun jus because of your period! Tampons work great when you swim!
iSLAND_x_KiiSS answered Sunday July 3 2005, 12:30 pm: Of course you can still go swimming, just wear a tampon. And the water will actually slow down your flow so you won`t bleed as much anyway. Be sure to bring a few extras just in case too.

blondebaby1016 answered Sunday July 3 2005, 1:21 am: I highhlyyy reccomend you wear a tampon. If you don't know how, read the instructions on the box, but whatever you do...DO NOT wear a pad, or go without anything. It'd possibly turn out to be extremely embarassing. LoveNJstyle answered Saturday July 2 2005, 7:40 pm: it should pretty much be done by then...i say go. the water stops it (seriously!) so dont wear a tampon. theres prolly not enough to need one by then really. have fun! <3 [ LoveNJstyle's advice column | Ask LoveNJstyle A Question ]
katholeen answered Saturday July 2 2005, 4:32 pm: Hey... well, for some people, your period stops when you go in the water (dunno why, but it does), but it's probably your best bet to wear a tampon... Just read the instructions and you'll do great, but if you're deathly afraid, just go and stay in the water most of the time and wrap a towel around yourself when you get out... rate me! askmex3 answered Saturday July 2 2005, 3:55 pm: If you definately wanna go swimming then yeah you should wear a tampon...however you might not need to b.c your period started thursday it might be over by sunday but youll just have to wait and see..sense its your 1st you dont know how long your typical period will last..there are dircetions in the box so youll know what to do
Erinn_the_bamf answered Saturday July 2 2005, 3:41 pm: If you really want to swimming you should. And if you do you have to wear a tampon. However, in my opinon you shouldn't go swimming. It's your first period so you may put the tampon in the wrong way. And you would either experince much pain or it would leak all over the pool. I hope I helped! ♥ good luck [ Erinn_the_bamf's advice column | Ask Erinn_the_bamf A Question ]
