I come from a backround growing up with skincare professionals. So not only do I live with people who know all about skincare, I know a great deal myself. I'm not going to bash Mary Kay makeup and tell you it's horrible for your skin. What I'm going to do is tell you what to look for in all different types of makeup to see for yourself if it's good or bad. To maintain clear skin you MUST have a makeup that is non-comedogenic (that means it doens't clog your pores). When shopping for makeup look for these ingredients and DON'T use them: mineral oil, lanolin, artificial colors, artificial fragrances, formaldehyde, isopropylmyristate. All of these ingredients are either comedogenic (clogs your pores) or irritants to the skin. I suggest looking into mineral based makeup (it doesn't contain mineral oil). I use Bare Essentials and I have very healthy, clear skin. Please leave me a comment and let me know how you do or what you think of my advice! I sure hope I helped!

mary kay has good makeup (i use the foundation) .. but stay AWAY from their facewash! it made me breakout so badly

No, it's not just for old people. I have Mary Kay lip gloss. It's pretty nice makeup.

It's for everyone, but I find it to be no better than the cheaper makeup you'll find at walmart and walgreens.

No way! They have the only lipgloss that I will wear. it is DEFINATELY not just for old ladies. It's very good make-up. I promise!

oh i love mary kay! i use to think the same thing. That it was only for older people. But thats not true at all. Anyone can use it! Its great! You should try it and its not that much money.

I'm almost 15, my sister is almost 16, we both use Mary Kay makeup. Mainly because my neighbor sells it and she gives us awesome discounts, but it's good. I like it a lot better than the covergirl stuff that I used to use, and it's a lot easier to wash off at night time, plus it does last all day, at least it lasts when I wear it, the covergirl stuff came off before the end of the school day, once summer started I started to use mary kay and it lasts all day.

Its not! Its acually pretty good. It just depends on how you wear it and what things you use. Modles usually use that tho. ♥// ex_oh
