Im going to Warped Tour and it'll be my first time going to a concert like this (my parents finally let me go!) Anyways, I was just wonder if you've been in a mosh pit before. Whats it like? And like what happends. Will I get hurt? Just like full detail and everything about! Thanks in advance!

HEYY! omg im going too! im so fuckin excited!! uhm the pit is scary and crazy..if your short and dont like pain dont go in it. people push, shuve, punch, kick everything and they wont stop to say sorry! so if you do go in it push kick and shuve your way through! dont be affraid to hurt anyone because there in the pit for a reason and they know there gunna get hurt!! yes its a 98% chance your going to get hurt..at taste of chaos this guy got his nose busted open and there was a puddle of blood on the floor and his face was coverd in blood and his hands and his shirt the ambulance had to take him to the hospital! im not trying to scare you im just warning you..be carful!! well i went to a concert and went into the mosh pit.it was awesome!! wveryone was jumping and ramming into eachother.i didnt get hurt. but... if your lucky like me you will be right next to the stage and get pushed up their. now that was awesome when it happened to me haha! have fun dude. ^O^

I haven't been to one before but loads of friends of mine have been.
If you have any piercings that are easily ripped out like your bellybutton, take them out. My friend got smacked in the stomach on accident and her navel ring was ripped out.
If you're small or fragile be really careful, people will jump, push, shove and just generally be careful.
Don't stand still, it's probably the worst thing you could do.
Just go with the flow and jump, push, shove like everyone else.
and try not to fall over.
No one will care if you fall over so you'll be stepped on.

Basically, it's a ton of people in one area who are just pushing eachother, somewhat violently. It's Warped Tour, so it's not going to be TOO heavy - and there shouldn't be anyone with knives in there at all.

Just push back.
Oh - and please wear sneakers or (laced up) boots. Boots are less likely to fall off, of course - but neither will your sneaker unless you get really crazy.
Watch for falling people.
- watch out for bigger people who are about to step on you.
If you decide to crowd surf, be careful about where you land.
Don't go near the center unless you want to get more rough. Pits are usually more rough toward the center and less so near the edge.
BEWARE the people who think it's cool to punch and kick in 'circle pits'. I think these are lame, myself. It
s a bunch of guys in a circle who kick and punch and 'karate chop' eachother - its been catching on with kids around where I live, and it's really lame. Do not be like these kids.
Oh - and some pits will have skanking, if there's any ska at Warped Tour(I'm not sure about the bands, although I know there's some punk). Skanking is awesome. It's not violent, just awesome.
And if there's anything important in your pockets, put it in a pocket that's really safe or else don't bring it. Only bring the essentials.

well i have not been in a mosh pit before...but my best friend was...he went to the warped tour last year...he was in a huge mosh pit and he got rushed to the hospital and he wass there for a week...why are they so bad??because they push you around and they throw you in the air and they drop you every where..you think they people will care if you have little boo boos and scratches and bruises...??no they wont..because while those people aree getting high as a mother you will be in the hospital with proably a broken bone...but if you are light you are a easyb target becuase they can pick you up easier...so try to stay away from the big crowds..and make sure you are totally safe okay..i dont want to hearv about you in the news.,.lol...be carefull and enjoy your time..

if you are tiny, scared easily, fragile and such... then yes you will get hurt. dont fall. stand your ground and uh, cover your face??? if its your first time it might be scary but mine was great... its so much fun. its violent but just let loose... feel the music and go crazy...

well if yuor a mosh pit virgin then try and stick to the little ones at first because you do get hurt. basically all you do is listen to the music and go crazy. just jump and move around. when you see people you'll soon get the hang of it. its not difficlut and anyways you dont need to do alot. people bumping into you and knocking you about make you do most of the moving so you dont eally need to think about it. and yes you do get hurt but at the time you harldy notice and just carry on. its the next day that it all ocmes back to haunt you. you discover bruises on parts of you, you didnt even know you had hurt. the best part is comparing battle scares with your friends. whos got the biggest bruise? lol! well have fun, it will be amazing, and one you've tried it you'll be hooked! lol

its hella fun you just have to listen to hte music and you will go crazy !!!
if your a girl i would cross your arms over your boobs cause they will hurt if someone smacks into you ....but if you not that out of control then i guess all you do is jump up and down, side to side and have fun

I mosh pit all the time because we have rock shows at our school every weekend.
When youre in a mosh pit youre way out of control, you dont make yourself move people bouncing off of you make you move. You normally jump around in it, thats probably the only movement you do by yourself.
Yes its so much fun. Yes you will 99.9% of the time get hurt. But that is whats so much fun about a mosh pit. When you hurt someone you dont really even stop to say sorry because the people in the mosh pit know that youre gonna get hurt. But the pain is worth it.
Im not sure about a big mosh pit like one at the Warped Tour though because that Im sure is going to be a lot of people. Just try not to get into big mosh pits, stick to the little ones.

they are really fun. but if you aren't tough, stay out. people really can get hurt. i was at a show last week and this guy busted his nose in the pit. but, if you're a girl, most likely when you get in, guys will back off. you can get hurt, but in my opinion it's worth it.

Mosh pits hurt like hell. As simple as that. What happens is everyone starts pushing and punching each other and doing other crazy painful things to one another. It's very violent. You should stay away from them. I hope I helped! ♥ good luck

STAY AWAY FROM THE MOSH PITS! If you do not like pain, a mosh pit is not where you should be. You get beat the hell up and you will be bruised for days. It's just an insane amount of people push eachother, punching eachother and all this crazy crap and it hurts like a bitch.
