That's what siamese do.

They cry...

Loudly.

In my experience, kittens do best in pairs. Get her another kitten, about the same size. They will keep each other occupied and there will be less pressure on you.

Well you can just lock her in a cage for a couple days cause she is crying because she wants attention and if you lock her up at night it will teach her to not cry for attention at night and there is a certain time she can have attention!!!

Hold her at night, or like put her on your bed with you. She is a kitten and probably misses her mom. wouldnt you? Well try everything because not going to school isnt good. If nothing works, try getting another cat to keep her company. If you get another cat, before showing them to eachother, take a towel and rub it on the new cat and take another towel and rub it on the siamese kitten and then rub the towels with the other cats scent on each of the cats so they will get used to eachother and not kill eachother. Hope I helped! -|-PRP-|-

Your kitten has to get used to everything first. Its still very young and it missed its mom. It will stop crying but it really likes being with you so it needs your attention. Just play with it but it will learn on its own soon. It just crys because its so young and it probablly wasnt ready to separate from the mother. ♥ `

Try giving her a stuff animalto cuddle with, it would substitute for you, and let you get some sleep. ♥

If shes that young, she may not have been ready to be seperated from her mother, hence she is crying. Everyone says there is a certain age to be able to get rid of kittens, but the truth is every kitten is different, we have had many litters, and a few of our kittens did that too. She doesn't cry when you hold her because she feels comforted, and not alone, try making a little bed next to yours for her, or mayb letting her sleep in you bed if she isn't. Hold her as much as possible, give here little treats when she goes for a long time without crying. If you have any other pets try to get them to play with her. She'll grow out of it, it'll just take some time, hang in there, as for not sleeping at night, if she still cries even whole in your bed with you, try to hold her while you sleep, put ur arm around her and pull her close to you, she'll know you're there and might sleep as well.

Aww!! Well, it's just obvious she wants to be neaR you! :) Does she sleep in bed with you?? And if not, is that at all possible?? I supposed if she's not allowed to sleep in bed with you you could tRy putting heR in the basement, gaRgage, oR bathRoom foR the night. And to keep heR quiet duRing the day, peRhaps you could buy heR some catnip mouseys, and eveRy houR oR two get down on the flooR and play with heR?? SoRRie if this isn't much of a help; I have TONS of cats.. and when they meow I guess I just ignoRe it. I wish you and youR kittie the best!! :D

rnobers answered Monday June 13 2005, 10:11 am:
i remember getting a new kitten and doing the same thing. your kitten is suffering from separation anxiety, much like when babies throw a fit when they are taken away from their parent. something that worked for us (it may work for you)is keeping the kitten in a box with a hot water bottle. also a ticking clock in a towel helps. our vet at the time recommended this. he mentioned how the hot water bottle gives the kitten a sense of something else being there. much like kittens in a litter lay close to each other. the ticking clock supposively is a heart beat substitute. all this according to a vet. and of course, like all creatures, it takes time for the animal to adjust to its new surrounding. good luck with your kitten.

DangerNerd answered Monday June 13 2005, 7:27 am:
Hello there,

My understanding is that Siamese cats are the loudest of all breeds. I have also heard that they seem to do better in pairs than they do in singles.

You didn't say how long you have had your kitten, but it can take as much as a week for any kitten to settle into his or her new home.

Picture if you were ripped away from your mother, your brothers and your sisters...

What if you were taken away from the only home you had ever known, and put in a strange place?

It would be scary wouldn't it?

Your kitten will mellow out with time, but because of her breed will probably never be as quiet as other cats.

DangerNerd.

She probably just wants attention. Being a kitten, she needs attention just like a human baby. That's why it's sometimes better to get older pets from a shelter.
