Hey Y'all!! :]]

I'm a girl and sometimes I get turned on by other girls. Does this make me a lesbian?? I dont want to have a relationship with them though. And I get crushes on guys, not girls. What do ya think?

Like most things, there is a continuum between pure straight and pure lesbian. You are probably bisexual.

in size of a penis how big would you say is big? womens opinion please? for a teenager that is.

If it's longer than five or six inches when erect, it is big.

It's the first time to contact you but I really need yr advice here specially I need such advice from a mature female. I'm 26 years old from Egypt and I'm in love with a women 25 years my senior. She is from TX. We first met in a chat room and we were very nice to each other. Actually I met her after some emotional troubles and depression I was stuck in before our meet with 12 months or more but after I met this women I really found a life should be lived and she helped me to heal my soul. We know each other since last March 2006 and after 3 months we both felt that chemistry between us and she was the first telling me that she die at me and she loves me (as I think), and I also was feeling the same way. She only has one 23 years old daugther who's working in another state, so my lover stays alone at home and she told me that she has met before other guys in chat rooms and most of them told her that they love her also and want to marry her and she had told me that before telling me that she loves me. When she has told me about those guys I explained her that there are alot of guys from outside the US who use this way to get marry with women from the US or Europe for immigration purposes.

I told her that I'll not be ready to leave my country now because I have family here I have to take of and I cannot leave them and she suggested to come and live here but I also found it not good idea because life her is not easy at all.

I have a job here and I like it and I'm afraid if I'll move to the US that I'll never find a similar job but I told my lover that I'm ready to work in any job and will not a problem.

She also as most of the older women have worries about the comments of the friends and family after she talked to them and there are some with and others are against. Her daughter has no rejection for this matter and all she wants is to find her Mom is happy in her life after 2 bad marriages she suffered from.

I know that you will find this a crazy idea because the age difference between us but I see her as the most beautiful women on earth and I guess she finds me that kindhearted young man who loves her and wants to spend the rest of his life with her. But believe me, I don't mind with her age or the other people's opinion even we talked about having children and I told her that I don't want kids because this could be dangerous to her life and all I want is she.

So, please give me yr advice and I'm waiting for any other details or explains you might need.

Regards,

M. AAMER

I don't think the age difference is a problem as long as it doesn't bother you or her.

It might be easier for her to join you in Egypt than for you and your family to join her in the US, especially if you have a good job. Many Americans love Egypt, and it might not be a problem for her. If you come to the United States, you might find it hard to bring your family with you.

Also, it is very expensive in the United States, and jobs here generally don't pay very well. Another problem in the US is that there is a lot of prejudice against people from the Middle East.

I hope things work out well for you and your lover.

i'm doing a project on ghosts and i need to conclude my essay about the believer's and non-believer's views and i'm a bit stuck for ideas! i've written about a few perspective's but i need a few more.

so for what reasons would a person either believe or not believe in ghosts?
Any personal views or points in general would be a great help thank you :)

i rate all answers :)

I am an agnostic when it comes to ghosts. As a scientist, I can't think of any good, rational, scientifically valid reason why they should exist. On the other hand, as a scientist, I know that I can't prove they don't exist.

My family members and I have seen things that are hard to explain. My son firmly believes that our house (which was built in 1825) is haunted. He hears footsteps on the stairs, finds the cabinets opened up in the kitchen, and once heard her call his name. The ghost takes bites out of cakes and plays the keyboard. My daughter and I, on the same day, smelled a strong scent of a woman's perfume in the house, and no one in our family wears the stuff.
But the strangest thing that I have seen (and my son saw it too)... we were sitting on the couch, watching a movie, when the French doors to the study began to bulge outwards as if someone were pushing at them from the inside. We keep that room closed and locked to keep the cats out of there. I looked at my son, and said, "I'm going to see if there's a cat locked in there." There was no cat in there, and no air moving in the study, or the livingroom. The doors continued to flex for the rest of the evening... and never again after that one night. We say that it was the ghost, and I half believe it... but I also can't help thinking there is a natural explanation that I was missing.

hi i no this is a weird question but ear wax is supposed to be yellow and mine is white...does that mean anything bad or sumthing

~*i rate high*~

In general, white people tend to have yellow earwax and other races tend to have white earwax. In other words, white earwax is normal.

ok Im really upset right now my mom like thinks that im gonna be like anorexic and she wants me to go to a freakin consuler that I dont want to talk to at all she says because like some of the reasons that I dont want to go do things with my friends at the lake and have a pool party or whatever is because i think im fat well see i kinda do but i only think that I need to lose a few ponds i just dont like the way my legs look and a little bit of my stomach and she like is nagging at me like why dont u go to the lake with your friends or go to so so pool party she like because you dont want people to think your fat and crap like that and that might be a reason but she wants me to go to a consler!!!!!! god she is just.. i just wish she would let me live! pls help

Anorexia kills people, and your mother loves you and is worried about you. Keep talking with her; don't shut her out. Maybe you could tighten up your flabby areas with exercise rather than dieting, and that would allay your mother's fears as well as solve your appearance problem.

Im wondering if my period should be coming soon. I've done some reading and I found out that I have most of the "signals" *Pubic hair, boobs are growing, growth spurt, underarm hair, discharge etc.* But its been this way for almost a month and nothing coming? Should it be coming soon? *Btw im 13*

It does sound like your period should come soon. Generally, a girl will get her period at about the same age her mother did, or a little younger, because there is more estrogen in the environment and that is making everyone start a bit younger. However, you might start later than your mother if you are extremely over/underweight.

WARNING: This is one of those gross girly questions about tampons. If you can't handle it, stop reading now.

Ok, so. I just started using tampons, and I'm a little concerned that I'm doing something wrong. I've noticed that when I take it out, one side of the tampon tends to have "stuff" on it, and the other doesn't. And it seems like I heard somewhere that this was a bad thing. Can anyone tell me if I'm doing something wrong? Or is this normal?

Thanks a ton. Sorry about the embarrassing question, but I had to ask.

This usually happens when the flow is light. It is better to use a smaller tampon at these times.

Ok so here is my problem i have a really low self eestem i sould nt cause i hear that i am pretty alought and tons of people like me [cheak our my advice column to see pic] but my self- eestem is still really low i hate the way i look and i am never happy i feel like i can't so anyhting right and everything i do i screw up. please help me.
Reality.

Here are some things you can do to help your self-esteem:

1) Give yourself positive messages, and stop thinking negative thoughts about yourself. Allow yourself to feel pretty, to recognize that you are a good person, to understand that you have a right to feel good about yourself. If you find yourself thinking bad thoughts, like "God, I'm so fat," tell yourself "NO!" Turn the bad thought off.

2) Understand that you are the only person who has control over your feelings, thoughts, and opinions. No one else can "make" you feel happy, sad, or anything else. People can certainly invite you to feel a certain way, but only you can decide how to react to their input.

3) Identify your needs. What do you need to feel good about yourself? Do you need to feel appreciated for your own self, no strings attached? Do you need to feel appreciated for the work you do, for it to be recognized that you've done a good job? Do you need to feel that your time is structured, that you must know what is happening and when? Do you need to feel that your beliefs are respected? Do you need alone time and privacy? Do you need excitement and a sense of thrill? Do you need a cozy, nest-like environment? These are examples of fundamental, psychological needs that people may have. Figure out what your needs are.

3) Once you have identified your basic needs, learn how to satisfy them by yourself. For example, if you need to feel appreciated, you can get this from yourself by telling yourself, "That was a good thing I did." or "I really look good in these pants!" If you need a lot of structure in your life, make lists and do a lot of planning, put yourself on a schedule.

Basically, taking charge of your life, your actions, and your feelings, will help you feel better about yourself.

hi, i remarried 10 years ago.i had 3 children when we met.he's been a great father and husband.about 2-3 years ago my(our) eldest son (15) and my husband tarted to argue all the time.i suggested that we all og to councelling,my husband said he didn't have a problem.it was all my sons fault.about a month ago he moved out.we didn't have a problem when he moved out ,then all the sudden he 's acting like he hates me. he says it's all my fault for not doing anything about my son.he says he'll move back ion when my son is out of the house.could be 1-4-6 months,or longer.he's blaming me for all of it.he wanted me to kick him out or put him in foster carte.now were on the verge of a divorce. i love him very much but i can't go on like this much longer.help please.

If your husband refuses to join you and your son in counseling, which is an entirely reasonable suggestion, then it sounds to me like he doesn't really want the marriage to succeed. It could be that he is using your son as an excuse to move out, but he has other motivations.

I would suggest that you and your kids go to counseling without your husband, since he won't go, so you can deal with the trauma of what your family is going through right now. But do stick with your son. He needs you.

I started my period this morning (not for the first time, I've had it for 2 years) and I had REALLY bad cramps and I never usually get cramps.
They were so bad, I couldn't get out of bed.
I know cramps are normal but is it normal for your cramps to start after 2 years of not having them?

and also I vomited today. I've never vomited from my period before but my mom said she used to every month when her period came.
Is that normal!? Especially after two years of not having any trouble with my period.

The same thing happened to me. The nausea and cramps started about two years after I got my first period. I think it's pretty common. I hope for you it's an isolated incident, but with me, I felt sick every month until I had children.

Different remedies work for different people, but what worked for me is Ibuprofin (Motrin). As soon as you know your period is coming on, take up to 4 Motrin (no more than a total of 800 mg). Make sure you have something in your stomach when you take the Motrin (or take them with milk). My daughter prefers Alleve to get rid of her cramps and nausea, and she also finds it soothing to soak in a hot bath.

Other women regulate their bad periods with the Pill. And it can also help to poo when you feel the period coming on. It helps to relieve the pressure.

I'm having a party tonight and i dont know what games we should play. Does anyone have any suggetions. Please no dirty suggestions b/c my parents will be home!!!

Some fun games:

Can race: (an outdoor game) Each player should place an orange in the foot of a pair of pantyhose, and tie the pantyhose around his or her waist so that the orange swings freely just over the ground or floor. Line up empty drink cans along the starting line. Each person uses the swinging orange to hit the can and drive it toward the finish line. You're not allowed to use your hands in any way. This might sound dumb, but I can tell you it's one of the funniest things you'll ever see.

Crisco Twister: An outdoor form of the classic game. Coat the board with Crisco, and then play. It's more of a challenge that way. Traditionally, when you play Crisco Twister, you're supposed to take off an item of clothing every time you fall, but you might want to omit that part.

Pictionary is fun, and so is charades.

Which name do you guys like best? The gerbal is tanish brown and is a male. Which names do you guys like ?

Cinniniman
Nibbles
Co-Co

Well, I like to give small animals long names, the smaller the animal, the longer the name. So I would name a tan male gerbil Zebulon Russett Longbottom Rodentberger III.

i just started use tampons. behind my moms back. my sister was the one who wanted me to. but thats not the point. my mom told me all this stuff about how if it gets stuck you will have to get it serically removed or u could even die from them. soo basically im terridy of them. ive got it in "there" but like im too scared to let the plastic come completely off cause im too scared to leave it in there on even sit up. that probally sounds really retarded. but what do i do about. if u give good answeres ill rate high

Tampons are very safe if you take a few basic precautions:
1) wash your hands before you insert it, and don't handle the actual cotton part of the tampon, just the holder (the plastic or cardboard part),
2) change the tampon fairly frequently (every time you go to the bathroom, or every four hours or so),
3) use the smallest size tampon you can. If the tampon fills and starts to leak in less than 2 hours, it's too small. If it feels really dry when you pull it out (doesn't slide out easily), then it's probably too big. You might need different sizes for different parts of your period.

These measures will protect you from Toxic Shock Syndrome, a RARE condition associated with tampons. It is caused by a bacterial infection. You can read about Toxic Shock Syndrome on the insert that comes in a box of tampons. But it is very rare, and millions of women use tampons with no problems.

You don't have to worry about getting a tampon stuck in you. Your vagina is short enough so that you can reach a couple of fingers in all the way to the top if a tampon gets shoved up in there, and pull it out yourself. The best way to prevent a tampon getting shoved up in there is to make sure you remove the old tampon before putting a new one in.

i have so many bug bites...what are some ways to make them not itch other than the medicens at stores?

i'll rate high
thx

You could soak in an Aveeno bath. Aveeno is an oatmeal-based product, and you just pour it into the tub like bubble bath and soak in it. My children found it very soothing when they had chicken pox.

i intend to pull out my hair for some reason and i dont know why. im only 13. i dont want to go bald. what is causing this? what should i do?

This is generally a symptom of obsessive-compulsive disorder. Luckily, the condition is treatable with medication, so talk to a doctor about it as soon as possible.

Hi I just got a response from you from my last question, real good advise but the only problem is he will not talk to me !!! He ended this relationship a year a go. So how do I get to talk to him?????? Again I have tryed to not think about him and even told him I met someone else and got married, I figure then maybe I could of got on with my life and moved on???? now if you think about it he thinks im married and figured there is no chance for us??? I'm sure he has moved on also and met someone, It has been over a year and again I have tryed to contact this man from the day he left and he has not returned a call from me in a year???? Do you think he is worth it???? Im a very atractive girl and he has never been with anyone like me !! We were together for 3 1/2 years and I was the first girl he was with that long. He also had some screwed up relationships!! I'm sure he is not with a super model!! He isn't the best looking guy but I feel in love withh is heart!!!

So what do I do???

I'm afraid that if he won't talk to you, that answers your question. He has moved on. Your best bet is to move on, too. I know from my own experience how hard it is to let go and move on. A book that helped me a lot is "How to Break Your Addiction to a Person" by Howard Halpern. I can also tell you from experience that you'll feel a lot better once you make a firm decision not to try to connect with him again.

You guys have given such good advise but It's so hard to do it. I know this guy still loves me but he can't come back to me, because of his family. What can I do??? I even tryed to tell him I met someone and got married and moved and I thought that would of worked but no it didn't , Well in his eyes he probably thinks I have moved on by saying that and then by me telling him that There's no chance for us!! I cut communication with a women ffriend that works with him and she would actually tell me he is dating and enjoying his life and that would kill me!!! then I thought of course she is going to tell me this , she is not going to tell me he is sad!!! right????

He truely Loved me and I screwed up,he feel s I treated him like a do and I used him!!! I just can't believe he has moved on and started a new relationship after everything I have done to him??? Truthfully I thought him geting into another long term relationship would be the last thing on his mind??????

What do I do??? Do you think he still cares???

Thanks

I think the only thing you can do in this situation is sit down with this man and level with him. Tell him the truth about what you have done and how you feel. Ask him what he's doing and where he stands. Stay calm and non-confrontational no matter what he tells you. You may not like what he has to say, but at least then you will know and won't have to wonder anymore. On the other hand, if he wants to start up the relationship again, then you and he can figure out how to get around the family problem.

Hey guys!! My friend and I are pooling together, (15 bucks each) to get our guy friend a going-away present. He's about to be a freshman, and he's moving to Pennsylvania if that helps. We don't really know what exactly we can get him. Anyone have any ideas? I'll rate 5's for good ideas! Thanks. xo

A freshman can always use a really good dictionary. There is also a nice Pennsylvania atlas available that consists of topographic maps of the whole state, which would be good if he likes to hike or do other outdoors things. Or you could get him a funny Pennsylvania t-shirt.
