Hi, I'm the guy who asked you about my 3 "non-Christian" friends and I haven't talked to them yet. I'm not going to tell them until school starts, maybe. I've been thinking. I went to this camp for 2 weeks. They talked about friendships and relationships and it got me wondering. The Pastor said that we should pick friends who are going to encourage us in our Christian walk, but don't ignore the friends you have now. So I thought, "Well, I don't want to blow my friends off, but they can just be my 'school-friends' (ya know, friends you only hang out with at school) but if I hang out with them at school, they're still not encouraging my Christian walk at school (which is a battle zone all in itself)" so now what? Well, when I went to Church this past Wedensday for something called "Acteens" we talked about the exact same thing. We were talking about the qualities we look for the most in a friend. We did this anonymous vote. People picked honesty over faith. We were talking about how we need good Christian friends ((like you were saying)) who encouraged us in a positive way. I asked if that means we shouldnt be friends with people who arent Christians then. Because,arent we supposed to encourage others? I was told that you should still be friends with non-Christians and try to encourage them. And if all else fails, dont stop being their friend, just dont let them influence you. If you feel that keeping these friends would REALLY affect you, then dont hang out with them that much. If you feel you can still remain a good Christian with those friends, then hang out with them like you do now.

Well, I would say don't go on a diet because you are bigger then all of your friends. Do it for yourself and your health. I would say, don't try a drastic diet. Just cut back on some foods and eat more veggies and fruit. And try to drink more water then soda. I know it's hard. It takes awhile to lose weight. However, it's not impossible. Just try to cut back on foods and excersice more. Take a walk, it's fun!!

Okay, I read your response to my question about my friends, you know, the 3 who aren't really "Christian Like" and I've made my decision. I'm gonna let them go, now the ultimate question, how do I tell them? How can I tell them that all of the sudden I don't want to be friends with them anymore? I've been trying to find other friends who are more Christian-like than them, but no one stands out in my mind. I'm pretty picky about my friends, and this may sound harsh, but I can't find anyone "good enough" (for a lack of better words) to be friends with besides that friend mentioned once before. Well, I would say try to have a nice tone, and tell them when they are in a good mood. Tell them that they are influencing you in the wrong way. Tell them that youa re a follower of Christ and that they are tempting you to do things that God wouldn't approve of, and you don't want the negative influence. However, tell them that you will be there if they need you. If they ever wanna get Christ in their life, that you will be there for them to help them out.

Well, first off, sorry this took so long to answer!! I really apologize!!
I would say sit down and talk to your friend. Tell her that if he bugs her that much, that she should sit down and talk to him. Maybe they like each other but neither of them want to admit it? Tell her that she is driving you nuts talking about him. If he bothers her THAT much, get a restraining order! Maybe you should talk to him and tell him to cool it.

I am having a friend problem. You see, I'm a relious guy and all, but my friends aren't. Well, one of them says he is, but he doesn't live like it. Anyways, I have 3 friends that I've been chillin' with all year and I don't really have any other friends-friends. I have one other friend, who's a girl, but we don't get a lot of classes together (usually none). I really think I should cut off my other 3 friends cause they're not encouraging me to live the life God wants me to live. I'm supposed to be willing to give EVERYTHING to God, but if I give Him my friends, I'll be all alone. I'm not "MR. POPULAR" either so what should I do? (link)

I think that you should live how God would want you to. If you stay with these three friends, then they might start encouraging you to do things that God wouldn't want you to. It might be hard though, if those are your only friends. Maybe you could just encourage them more to believe in him. God knows how hard you are trying. I had the same situation before. A lot of my friends aren't very "Christian-Like" but I have this one friend who is. Turns out most of her friends (which are mainly mine too) aren't very "Chirstian-Like" either. It ended up we go to the same Church now and are going on a Church trip. I would say find someone who is Church like and hang with them. If you can't find anyone, stay by yourself. If you are afraid your current friends will drag you away from God, then leave them. Or, stay with your friends and just encourage them.
I probably repeated myself a kaggilion times!! Sorry!!

Don't fret!! It's normal that you haven't done any of those things yet!! Nothing at all is wrong with you! People have their own pace, I know people in their 20's who haven't kissed anyone yet! It all depends on the person. I would say, don't rush things. Let them come to you. Your first kiss/bf should be very magical. If you rush into things, they won't turn out right. Just live your life normally, and the perfect guy will come along sooner or later! Everything will be completly fine!! Don't worry about it!

I would say that there isn't much that you can do. Her heart has to heal, it's not easy.
I would say, don't try to make her tell you anything, just let her know that you are there for her if/when she needs you.
If it gets too bad, sit her down and TRY to talk to her and tell her that you are worried about her and her well-being.I hope everything works out for you sweetie.

Well my dad is very sick with an illness and like today is fathers day and everything and he was talking to me and was like "you know my medicine isnt working anymore...and like this is the last fathers day that i will be with yall and he was telling me how he wont be able to see us graduate or see his grandkids.and like i looove my dad so freakin much and like when me and my siblings were younger he wasnt really in our lives and then he came into our lives again about 2 years ago and liek when he wasnt in our lives i hated it i hated myself.....and i could never imagine being w/out him again..i dont know what to do i meen i cant talk to my family or anyone about it becasue im just not that kind of person it feels waaaaay to wierd to me...like he always tell me stuff liek "when he dies he wants ...blah blah blah" and like i cant freakin take it this is soo muc pressure of me and i think about it every single day and like earlier today i was balling my eyes out thinking that this was the last fathers day wioht him...i wish that this big nightmare would just go the freak away! i really dont know how to deal with this guys and i have no one to talk to it about..i love my daddy so much and i dont ever want him to leave.and liek i know its kinda stubborn but im like always kinda rude to him..you know how every teenager is..but like he is always liek do you hate me and i just wat to say "HATE YOU OF COURSE NOT DAD I LOOOVE YOU SOO EFFIN MUCH" but i cant.and like does anyone know sumthing special i can do for him like not today cause its already late but like another day..for fathers day..and also can you help me with the whole not being able to see him again...

Gawsh! That made me cry. :( It's always sad to hear about someone losing a loved one. I have had a lot of people in my family that I have lost, my father included. I would say that there isn't really much that you can do. I would say just be there for him. Just tell him that you love him. After losing so many loved ones, I can't even leave a room without saying "I love you" to whoever was in that room with me.
Just tell him you love him, and pray for him. Prayer is a very powerful thing. God will answer your prayers in different ways then you think. Even if your father dies (which is a very strong possibility since he, himself, said he would) just think of him in Heaven, pain-free.

LOL!! Well, whenever ya kidnap her, be sure to bring her to my house so I can have a lil bit of fun myself. haha, just kidding. Well, I would say go stand by her tour bus to meet her, and when she goes to sign a picture, grab her and tie a jumprope around her!!! Sling her in your car....and bring her to my house!!! But, then again, it wouldn't be kidnapping because she loves us so much that she would go willingly. :D

I would say don't even try thinking about what to wear. I would say just dress like you normally would, so people will get to know the real you. No one likes someone who tries too hard. I say, just wear your normal clothes that you would at any school, at anytime. Hope I helped some.

I don't think you are being too paranoid. You are just being safe. A lot of kidnaps aoocur nowadays. You are being very responisble by checking to see if every door is locked. I think that it is good that you are scared of it. I don't mean it in a "mean" way, it's jsut good because you will be safe, unlike many people. Many people don't even check to see if their doors are locked ((me included)) so you are doing something very good!! I say just don't worry about it too much!! Just make sure the doors are locked, and just keep doing what you're doing! Hope I helped some.

Well, no comment about my sex life. However,in my opinion, 14 is kinda young. What happens if ya'll break up? Wouldn't you feel bad that you just "threw it away"? It's not my place to judge. I say that if you know you are ready, then go for it. If you have this little voice inside of you that kinda doesn't want to do it, then don't. Don't be pressured in doing something that you don't wanna do.

I would say take a cigarette and tear it apart and put the tobacco on it. When I was younger, I got stung by two bees at a soccer game and someone did that to me. It really helped it!!

this is just for the girls! im 15 years old and i am in 10th grade i started haveing periods in the 7th grade. it is now august and i havn't had a period since january. I know, i know the first thing that comes to mind is R U PREGNANT well no i know this for sure because i am a virgin, i have no clue what is wrong with me and i really need help. i have went to the doctors about it and all they did was send me to a gynocologist (however u spell it) i haven't went to that appointment yet but it is in a couple of weeks. is there advice you can give me or does anyone know what could be causeing me this?? please respond (link)

It could be just because of stree. I missed a lot of my periods because of stress. It could also be because of not eating healthy. Like, not eating or something. I would say the best bet is that it's just caused my stress. Don't fret. Hope your appointment goes well!!

Hmm, well, I'm not Catholic or anything, so I don't really know how confession works. I don't know if it's confidental like Doctor/Patients thingy is or not. But, I would say that if I was a priest and someone told me they killed someone, then I would go to the police.
Also, if you didn't kill anyone, I would say you have absolutely nothing to worry about!! It's good to get things off your chest!!! I say go to confession!
