It could be just because of stree. I missed a lot of my periods because of stress. It could also be because of not eating healthy. Like, not eating or something. I would say the best bet is that it's just caused my stress. Don't fret. Hope your appointment goes well!!

Love always,
Kerry

It could be stress causing you this because the same thing happened to me, and yeah I suggest you go to the doctor, cause I never told my mom, and I ended up getting my period for 4 months STRAIGHT and that was hell. All they are gonna do is give you somthing like a pap smear, a pregnancy test, do some blood work, and give you birth control. Sounds like alot, but the birth control does regulate your period. So good luck and I hoped I help! If you need to know anything else, feel free to ask! God Bless! Beebyes! ~1ne~

Some times it doesnt really matter when or how you get your period. Like take my cousin for instance she gets her period january april december and it keeps goin in that rotation. It doesnt always matter when it comes just be happy you had it. Because i dont think you have problems. Like normal people get theres once a month. But that does change for people. So i dont think you should worry about it.

it might be because you've changed your diet or exercise patterns ~ have you lost weight or gained muscle?

The first 2 years of when your period starts, your periods are gonna be irregular. If you're takin any medication that stops or slows done your periods, this may be why your period is acting weird. I really don't know how to help you because my periods aren't like that. When you go see your gyno, ask her why this is happening to you and then she can help you out. I hope I helped a little bit!
