Vomiting & Cramps. I started my period this morning (not for the first time, I've had it for 2 years) and I had REALLY bad cramps and I never usually get cramps.
They were so bad, I couldn't get out of bed.
I know cramps are normal but is it normal for your cramps to start after 2 years of not having them?
and also I vomited today. I've never vomited from my period before but my mom said she used to every month when her period came.
Is that normal!? Especially after two years of not having any trouble with my period.

As soon as you get your cramps start taking pain pills to help you get through the day. Also they have these little heating pads that you can put on your stomach and that really helps. you can buy these at CVS or any pharmacy. Maybe you didn't vomit from your period could of just happened. Periods can make you nausaous. See a doctor i saw mine and she gave me these pills that I had to take a couple of days before i knew my period was coming. My cramps weren't as stong. ]
Well your mom said that she had the exact same thing.. so sorry kiddo, you guys are probably the same. For the cramps, you may want to take some midol.
Sometimes cramps and different symptoms can come at any stage that you've had your period, and two years isn't tooo long to have your period. If you need any more help drop one by the inbox.

Almost the same thing happened to me. I had mine for a while and then all of a sudden I got these horrible cramps. It's completely normal, so there is no need to worry. You also don't have to worry about the vomitting, because that happens to a lot of my girl friends. I guess it's just something that goes along with your period... it sucks, but you just have to deal with it.
P.S. Oh, and I recommend IB Profin for cramps... it's good for really bad ones. ]
yes it is normal every month your period is different like one month it might be heavy the next it wont be.. Sorry but the best way i got my cramps to go away is a nice hot bath so iprophen*how ever u spell it lol* and a heating blanket layed on the sofa and later they went away.. Hope i helped rate me.. ]
The same thing happened to me. The nausea and cramps started about two years after I got my first period. I think it's pretty common. I hope for you it's an isolated incident, but with me, I felt sick every month until I had children.
Different remedies work for different people, but what worked for me is Ibuprofin (Motrin). As soon as you know your period is coming on, take up to 4 Motrin (no more than a total of 800 mg). Make sure you have something in your stomach when you take the Motrin (or take them with milk). My daughter prefers Alleve to get rid of her cramps and nausea, and she also finds it soothing to soak in a hot bath.
Other women regulate their bad periods with the Pill. And it can also help to poo when you feel the period coming on. It helps to relieve the pressure. ]
