karenR answered Thursday June 2 2005, 1:11 am: Yes they do. Sometimes people are attracted to those qualities which they don't possess. Then, they just complement the other.
Others who are maybe more adventurous may want someone to get out there and climb mountains with each other. I do believe that over time even those who are a lot alike have some differences somewhere. :) [ karenR's advice column | Ask karenR A Question ]
clearlypink428 answered Wednesday June 1 2005, 3:53 pm: i believe that there is truly only one person in this world for each of us. you have one, and i have one. i just think we all need to take the time out to realy search for that one person. so, regardless of wether opposites attract, i'm positive that similarities attract as well. flimsypaperdoll answered Tuesday May 31 2005, 10:53 pm: absolutely. opposites just don't have enough in common to have a lasting relationship. initially, you'll feel the opposite is very intriguing because you just can't understand them. this creates mystery, which is very appealing. but once that mystery dies out (very soon) then there's just no more "oomph" to keep the relationship going. no magical sparkle. no interest will be generated. people who share the same interests stay together longer. 3__oNLyiNadReaM__3 answered Tuesday May 31 2005, 10:36 pm: Opposites do attract because it's meeting someone totally new and likes different things which brings you to like them. People who are alike also attract because you have the same interests. I guess it justs really matters on the people.
Live4HimAlways answered Tuesday May 31 2005, 10:32 pm: well it deprends if you want someone to share the same things you do then sure they will but if you want someone a lil different than you and likes other things then that might work too. it's what you want... i hope i helped!! duckyfernanda answered Tuesday May 31 2005, 10:30 pm: Of course, sometimes opposittes attract because they like people who are different and therefore they can do different things with that person that the other person has never tried...but then people that have a lot in common usually get along because they can always agree on almost everything. The answer to your question is yes, people who are a lot alike do attract just as much as opposites..it depends on the people.....Hope i helped RATE ME

MFS answered Tuesday May 31 2005, 10:19 pm: Generally, you'll find that people who get together and stay a strong couple will have more in common with each other than they will have differences. Common intersts are what we build our friendships upon, and any romantic relationship worth a damn is build on a strong friendship. Opposites only attract in magnetism, electricity, and velcro.
