i really like this guy... and i think he likes me to. the problem is we never c each other at school. he sugests that we talk on the fone, but im too shy to do that. i want something to happen between us, but how do i get over that shyness?

Wow that's a hard one, I'm really shy too, but you just have to foget it and try your best. When your talking to him on the phone and there is that silence just say you hav to go. Later it will be easy and you won't be so shy around him.

If u want to talk to him on the phone but are really scared you'll get shy then make a list of things you can talk about so you don't run out of things to say. Then when you get to the end of the list say you have to go. the more often you do this the easier it will become to talk to him because you will be getting to know eachother and you will start to relax around him. Then you can take it a step further and meet out of school or something.

Seems to me talking on the phone would be a great way to get to know him without being face to face. You should really try talking to him before someone beats you to it. The only way to get over the shyness is to just ignore it and do it anyway. :)

Dont worry about it. If you are shy its acually easier to talk on the phone then in person. You really cant imbaress your self and sicne he seems to like you dont worry if you will say the wrong thing. Hope you go out!! X0`

Just relax. Talk to him on the phone, at least for a few minutes a day. After a few times you'll be so used to it that you wont even notice :). xox.

well, the only thing I can say that you can do is just suck it up & ask him out... I know its tough, I feel the exact same way, way to shy, alls you can really do is just face it & know that if you don't, then 1) you'll never know what could have been & 2) your just going to remember this & every time your just going to back down
& nothing will happen unless he dose something, but you have to just do it
in a way this reminds me of the song, "I Will Remember You", cos its about being afraid to commit & how you are looking back at a life full of pain & failed relashion-ships

hey..dont even think about him being the guy you like when youre on the phone..just think of him as a friend..its really not a big difference..you should try n go places with him and hang out with him more ...once you get use to him you wont be so shy anymore..

well mayb talk to him online and make plans to hang out and go to his house or urs, go to a movie or mall. then after you guys have hung out a bunch talk on the phone and get close ! hope that helped :)
