I am not totally sure what is wrong, but it might be the food you are feeding it. It could be making the cat sick. Try buying a different type of food. My cats eat Fancy Feast and are fine with it. If this still doesn't work then i would reccomend seeing a vet.

Hey hun!
I'm sure there's nothing that's seriously wrong with your cat. My older sister's cat used to always throw up her food, so she had to buy a different brand of food. Try buying something else for your cat to eat, and see if she is still throwing up. I think that's all she wants is new food. If she still keeps throwing up, then I think you should take your cat to the vet. I love cats, and I would never want something to happen to mine! My cats eat Fancy Feast, or Friskies food just to give you an idea of what you can maybe get. Hopefully that's not what your giving your kitty already! Alright, well I hope I helped ya out hun! If not, I'm really sorry. Email me if you have anymore questions that I can help you out with. I hope your kitty gets better! I'm sure she will. Don't worry. :-)

K, something like this happened to my cat, so I hope it is the same problem your cat has so that my advice will actually help. Your cat might have a sensitive stomach and might need special cat food. So you could try getting cat food that says sensitive stomach on the package. Another thing you could do that would probably help a lot more than I would is to take your cat to the vet, and your vet could tell you what the problem is. Hope I helped.

dwarp answered Saturday April 16 2005, 11:03 am:
My cat has been doing that for the past 10 years. We realized it's because he thinks my dog is going to eat his food, so he rushes to eat it and then he gets sick. When we lock him in the laundry room, he knows the dog can't get in there, so he paces himself and if he does have to throw up, it's on a wood floor instead of the carpet. Do you have any other pets? That may be why. If not, she probably just has a stomach flu or something and you should take her to the vet to see if she needs any medication.

He might be sick, take her to the doctor. Also it could be the foot you feed a cat, its safe to just keep it on the same diet all the time.

FunnyCide answered Saturday April 16 2005, 12:12 am:
She could be having an allergic reaction to her food. Maybe she has a virus or something. The only way to know is for you to take her to a vet. I'm not a "cat expert", but I have two cats. The only cases of them throwing up was when once my cat accidentally ate some rat poison, and she threw up alot. (we had to take her to the vet) and once my cat had a stomach virus and needed medicine (vet..)
Take her to the vet. You'll be glad you did. She'll lose too much weight too fast. Not good. Vet is good.

I'm not a cat expert, but here's my theory- She might have a stomach virus. Yes, cats get them as well. I know when I was sick, everything I ate i couldn't keep down for more than an hour. Maybe take her to the vet to get some medicine, I'm sure that'll help. Maybe if you don't want to take her to the vet right away, try switching her food with a different kind or brand to see if it's her stomach that won't keep it done, or if it's attitude because she doesn't like it.
