Every gel I use for my hair, makes my hair greyish and flakey. I have used numerous types and its always the same.
Is it my hair?
If not, what gel would *you* reccomend?
Teza answered Thursday April 14 2005, 12:33 am: Your hair and your skull is too dry. You need to use a better conditioner. None of the hair gels are good. They make your hair oily, greasy, and sticky, Use eather moouse or hair spray. x0 [ Teza's advice column | Ask Teza A Question ]

Mikeus answered Tuesday April 12 2005, 1:58 am: Apply the gel to damp, towel dried hair. Don't comb or try to style after the gel has dried in your hair. Also you might want to try going to your local hair salon and asking for a good gel. They'll be able to tell you a good product for what you want to do with your hair. kiyya answered Monday April 11 2005, 10:40 pm: that happens to me too its not your hair its the gel. the gel dries in your hair and it makes white flakes and stuff i hate that.i think all gel do that when it drys in hair. try washing your hair, blow dry it and put gel at the same time, while blow drying it, you won't see any flakes.if you don't want the flakes after you put the gel and it dries sprinkle water in your hair then comb or brush it down you won't see any white flakes. if any more questions feel free to ask. thanks and bye. azngemini answered Monday April 11 2005, 9:16 pm: i dont think it's your hair.. it's probably just the gel you're using.
I use loreal paris studio styling gel, n i never see any flakes on my head.
I use it on damp hair, or i just apply it onto my hair and comb through it with water.
try it, maybe it'll work for you [ azngemini's advice column | Ask azngemini A Question ]
FlukeKid answered Monday April 11 2005, 9:06 pm: Well If it always ends up flakey you must be quite active or move your hair a lot. There is no real way to avoid that except to alway be thinking "is my hair being moved or touched".
depending on the length of your hair and the style you choose I would suggest a something stonger then gel, glue. Got 2b Glued is a good product that will make sure your hair stays in place. [ FlukeKid's advice column | Ask FlukeKid A Question ]
redxroses answered Monday April 11 2005, 8:58 pm: No, it's not your hair. It happens to a lot of people. I used to use a hair gel made in the Philippines that worked great, but I don't know what it's named and it doesn't sell anywhere besides the Philippines... I use hairspray instead of gel now, I feel it works better. =) [ redxroses's advice column | Ask redxroses A Question ]
