mrs_radcliffe answered Sunday April 10 2005, 6:26 am: When you first start your period it can be heavy! mine was, But its alot better. If you feel its a serious problem go see a femal doctor.
Also keep a spear pair of knickers in your bag and 2 or 3 pads! Try getting the biggest ones they help.
girdy_goo15 answered Saturday April 9 2005, 11:21 pm: no your body is just getting used to the period. plus you have a heavy flow. well it can help to control the leakage if you use tampons. but unless you are ready and your mom says it's okay and everything then don't but otherwise do it. some_girl answered Saturday April 9 2005, 7:53 pm: Change between classes, wear the heaviest type of pad you can find. If that doesn't work, wear a tampon and a pad. Thats sure to cover everything [ some_girl's advice column | Ask some_girl A Question ]
Teza answered Saturday April 9 2005, 7:35 pm: You need to wear a better pad that is thicker and so you wont leak. Since its your third period it will bleed really heavy for now. Change you pad about 2-3 times at school. x0 [ Teza's advice column | Ask Teza A Question ]
charmed-cherry21 answered Saturday April 9 2005, 7:14 pm: No. You need to buy Maxi-Pads. Leaks happen to lots of people. And you probably didn't have the pad in the best spot to keep from leaks.
HyperactiveMiss answered Saturday April 9 2005, 6:18 pm: Since it's only your third period, you don't need to worry. Everything's a little funky when you're first starting out. Just be sure to CHANGE your pad more often, even during class if you can feel it. Ask the teacher to go to the bathroom. If they don't let you go, give a hint and tell them it has to do with "feminine issues". They'll definitely get it. Things will get better, no worries. tweetysweetyangelLeLe answered Saturday April 9 2005, 6:18 pm: Okay, this is normal to be heavy and no offense but throw out that big thick large pad. The newer ones that are ultra thin work better and are probably going to be more comfy anyway. When you are heavy like this you should have a pad made for heavy flows and they do come in ultra thin. And grab some tampons because it does help sometimes to have a tampon and a pad on at the same time that way when the tampon is full you take it out and it would leak right onto the pad. This trick has helped me for 2 years and never failed me. Good Luck! [ tweetysweetyangelLeLe's advice column | Ask tweetysweetyangelLeLe A Question ]
Karen answered Saturday April 9 2005, 6:12 pm: Your period flow is just very heavy and you are very lucky that no one actually noticed because this happened to one of my friends and she was really embarassed but this is normal, don't worry. You are bleeding to much because your flow is heavy, that's all.
You need to make the effort of changing your pad a few times when you're in school or this will happen to you again.
