Learn how to play an instrument

guitar usually works if you want a quick learn and if you get really good, then you can show off and everyone will want to be your friend

dear oh so lonely,
i think that you should make new friends. if they make up excuses to not hang out with you then they are obviously not your friends. be friends with people who you think are nice, remember if your a friend to them they will be a friends to you ( i know its corny but its true )

Tell your friends the truth. They will keep ignoring you until you say something. Maybe they dont relize that they are doing that. Go somewhere with a cousin or start a new hobbie. Play sports, chat online, do your nails, try a new hairstyle.. You could also rent and watch some movies, TV shows, stuff like that! Keep your self busy. x0

Had this problem before, the best thing to do is not pity yourself. Pick up a book, chat online, start a new hobbie. There's tons of stuff you can do, you just gotta think for a minute...

Hope I helped,

Here's how I see it. Your friends are thinking of excuses because they are either hanging out with someone who doesn't like you or they aren't in the mood to be around you. If you don't wanna be in the house just sitting around then you could do something fun in the house (shopping online, chat rooms, be on the phone with someone who isn't busy) and when you get bakc to school you need to expand your friends to people who have time for you. Don't drop your friends now but just add some of those enemies or don't know yous's into the friend category. It never hurts to have more friends unless you have too many as is. Good Luck!

HyperactiveMiss answered Saturday April 9 2005, 6:06 pm:
Maybe you can join some clubs at school. That way you can meet some new people there and spend some of your time dedicating yourself to the club. You could go out to the movies if you're bored...it's dark and no one can see you. lol. Or you can just stick to movies at home. My advice to you is to try to make new friends and keep yourself busy. Keeping yourself busy with cooking, reading, movies, cleaning, etc will keep lonely thoughts away from you. Friends might not come as quickly and easy as we all hope, but I'm sure you'll find some that are right for you soon. Hope it all works out.
