ok, well i'm an 8th grade girl and i really like this 7th grade guy, and he asked me out and i said yes, but i'm wondering if that's weird or not.. idk, i'm just confused, please help me!

That is not weird. In school, age seems like a big deal ONLY because age is separated by grades. But once you are out of school, age is nothing! Think about the married couples that have a five or ten year age difference! Age has definitely not come between their love. If you really like him, you won't care about his age.

Well, a lot of people might think it's weird, but it's not. YOu have feelings for this guy. It's no big deal.. What's the difference if the guy's your age or older? It could be a maturity thing, but there are other guys who are really mature for their age..

because he is younger? well i went out with 3 or 4 7th grade guys when i was in 8th grade. sometimse the guys in your own grade just dont work. to tell you the truth, i've only dated about 10 or11 guys, something like that, and i am 15. and only one has been in my own grade, but he didnt go to my school.
the one i am with now is a junior, and i am a freshman. *(if you dont know thats 11th grade for him and 9th grade for me)* and everything is fine we have been together for 14 1/2 months!! :)
if you like him, it doesnt matter. and if people make fun of you, thats their problem. some people made fun of me for going out with 7th grade guys when i was in 8th grade. and at least 5 people that i know of went out with one of the, and the same with the other! and then they all started dating 7th grade guys!!!
so, hey, people are just wierd sometimes, dont listen to what they say.
my bofyriend now is African American, and I am White, so we get made fun of, but thats their own problem!!

heyyyy dont be worried about being with someone whos not you age.. yournger or older.. you know you just have to really like him enough to not care that people might think its dumb or weird! all that should matter is what you two think! and if your happy than i wouldn't worry about it being so wrong! hope i helped!
