Hey Ya'll,
First off Im male and 15. I've kinda got a problem... There is this girl that is pretty much one of my best friends I guess you'd say. But we hang out alot or atleast when we can. And for the last few(2) months I started liking her as more than a friend. But the problem is that I don't know if she likes me as more than a BFF. I mean some days she really seems to like me as more than a friend in my opinion and some days it just seems like were just like best friends. I really don't know what to do cause i dont want to hurt our friendship if she doesnt feel that way... Because I love hangn with this girl shes so awsome!
I was thinking of asking her to prom (my schools screwed up and small so I can go to prom if I pay) because I know she'll make it a fun time even if she doesnt like me that way because she just makes me have a great time hangn with her... Should I ask her?

Going out with any of them would just be WEIRD. Im not so sure if you should ask her as in romantically, just as friends, and let the pieces fall where they may. Maybe prom night she will realize that she has feelings for you, and she will make the first move, just don't come on too strong.

Because, you find qualities in the person that you would find in a potential girlfriend/boyfriend, in your case girlfriend obvioussly lol. Well, you could say to her that someone told you that she said she liked you and you werent sure if you should believe the person. Who knows, maybe she does like you.
Deffinitly ask her to the prom as friends. And if things go well maybe give her a kiss. Start flirting with her more. Good Luck Hun. IM me or email me and tell me how it goes!!!

But make it clear that if she doesnt feel that way also that you still want to be BFF's. Because you think she is "so awsome!". And hopefully you're friendship will stay strong and firm if it stays as just a friendship. Good Luck!
And for sure ask her to prom going as friends would be kool! Thats what Im doin this yr.

punkrockprincess answered Saturday March 26 2005, 6:29 pm: You should definetly ask her! Tell her you think it would be more fun if you two went together! But I think if you tell her that you like her as more that a friend, then I don't think you'd get rejected right off the bat. Every girl thinks what things would be like if she were dating one of her guy friends. One time or another it crosses her mind. So most likely she's thought about you like that. I think at prom night if you two slow dance, you could tell her then. I think it would be very cute!
