I'm on a diet right now, and obviously, Easter is coming up. I have younger siblings who still get candy from the "Easter Bunny" and they're probably not going to buy "The Easter Bunny didn't bring your sister anything because she's on a diet." What can I have my mom give me so that I can have fun on Easter and still stick to my diet?
DancingKiwi123 answered Sunday March 27 2005, 4:51 pm: have her get you little things like lipgloss or nailpolish and then if you want a little treat in it ask her to buy you a small bag of sugar free jelly beans or something. [ DancingKiwi123's advice column | Ask DancingKiwi123 A Question ]

I always seem to break my diet on Thanksgiving and New Years. Tell your mom instead of giving you a lot of candy this year, to also add a stuffed animal and a CD. Then, the candy that you do get, you can give it to your younger siblings. Two positives here: You stick to your diet and you share with your siblings. LoveNJstyle answered Saturday March 26 2005, 5:57 pm: the easter bunny doesnt give older kids candy, they get stuffed animals and (something your into) instead. or you can be nice and share the candy you get with your youner sibs. <3 [ LoveNJstyle's advice column | Ask LoveNJstyle A Question ]
Missa8305 answered Saturday March 26 2005, 5:10 pm: Since your older, maybe the Easter Bunny could bring you some age appropriate gifts instead of candy. For example, little things like bubble bath, or lip gloss. If they ask why the Easter Bunny brought you gifts that aren't edible, or why they didn't get any, you could tell them that the Easter Bunny likes to give older kids stuff that won't cause them to get cavaties :P Whatever your excuse, tell your parents about it. That way they can back you up and make you look more credible ;) [ Missa8305's advice column | Ask Missa8305 A Question ]
xcuriousx0 answered Saturday March 26 2005, 5:07 pm: well ask her to get you some low fat candies to put in your basket. Or she can still get you candy but you can give some of it to your siblings and occasionally have some for yourself. [ xcuriousx0's advice column | Ask xcuriousx0 A Question ]
Sherry answered Saturday March 26 2005, 5:04 pm: Sugar free candy/cookies. Omgosh dont say ew because its so good. LOL. I'm on a low carb diet and I bought these sugar free/low carb peanut butter chocolate cookies and they dont even taste sugar-free! Just go to your local gorcery store and go to all the baked goods, and look for the sugar free stuff. And definatley buy something that says like "Sweetened with Splenda" Just because its easter doesnt mean you cant indulge in some sugar free chocolates and cookies! And trust me you'll love them because you havent had that good stuff in a while, so even if its sugar free...its beauitful! [ Sherry's advice column | Ask Sherry A Question ]
