Hey I realized my friend sorta WANTS to have sex and she is only 13, shes not going to have it, its just she wants to. I was on her computer and saw alot of porn websites, is this normal for a 13 year old??

13 is the ackward age that is between preteen and teen. yes it is thirteen but you are still at that mind set of i am a teenager but not old enough to be really considered mature enough to be a teen. I hope that last scentence made since to you. Anyways, it is normal but she should not act apon those thoughts. You say she won't and hopefully she will stay true to that. Let her know that there are guys out there that will take advantage of her once they find out about her curiosity. Hipefully she won't fall into a trap, but I think it is perfectly normal for her to be curious.

Yeah, unfortunately, it is normal. Being 13, as weird as this sounds, she's going through alot of changes, I mean we all know bout puberty changes. Hormones are actin up, and she's gonna get really curious, about her body, a guys body...It's only natural to be that curious at her age. If she wants to, and says she's not, just keep an eye on here. Cuz a chance could come up, and she might not turn it down due to temptation. If she turns and around, and decides she's gonna do it, there won't be much you can do to stop her, just remind her to be safe about it. Good Luck! Much Love!!

hmm.. strange.. i'm 13 too, and even though I dont look at porn or anything, it's probably normal for a 13 year old girl to look at porn sites. if guys can do it, why cant girls?
i think a lot of girls look at porn. on a room raiders episode on mtv, they had a college special, and all 3 college girls had porn posters in their dorm. it's normal for girls to look at porn, so you shouldnt be too worried about your friend.

The word realised implies that she hasnt told you this, its an assumption that you've made, you never know, the porn websites might be from someone else using her computor...to give you an example, Ive got these friends who LOVE looking at porn, and they looked up all these porn websites on google on my computor... You shouldnt really be making these assumptions, I know if I was your friend and I saw this I'd be thinking what a horrible pal you are... AND OF COURSE ITS NORMAL, IT JUST COULD BE CLASSIFIED BY SOME PEOPLE LIKE YOU AS 'NOT RIGHT'... however it doesnt mean that if you dont look at porn its abnormal...

Yea,it's normal!! At that age you're naturally curious!You kinda can't help it,your hormones are all outta whack!Nature's pretty much against you!LoL But no,it's normal.The only time you should worry is if she becomes obsessed with the porno.Like,if she starts flaking out on plans to chill with you and other friends,seems to be spending a LOT of time on the comp or watching TV to find a movie late at night,if she's overall growing distant from everyone.That's when you worry.As long as she realizes that at her age she is WAY too young to handle all that comes with a sexual relationship,and she only occassionally looks at porn sites,she's ok.It's a part of growing up! Definetly normal, as long as she doesn't have it, young girls and guys get curious about sex, and most teenagers don't feel comfortable asking their parents, but make sure that she isn't going to actually do it.

Society today and T.V advertise sex among 13 year olds like its a normal and ok thing, its not, being sexually curious is one thing, but actually doin it is a totally different subject! Sex is not something to be taken lightly, it ruins your relationships and messes everything up if your not mature enough to handle it! Tell your friend that true love waits and when she falls in love for real she will want to give herself to that person and it will mean alot more!

yes, at that age people are just learning about their new bodies and things, its very normal. she is just experimenting. just thinking is okay, althugh it is a sin.

Yes, it is normal for people that age to be doing/thinking of that stuff. I, however, am not one of those people who are interesed. Seeing as to how she is 13 and a teenager..yes...tell her that you want her to talk to you BEFORE she decides to have sex...or atleast talk with another adult..so that she can atleast get protection..because if she gets restricted..she is more than likely to do it anyways and unsafe..trust me, i did it too!
