My hair is gets all this static in it and it's driving me crazy! It's like when you rub a balloon to your hair and it just sucks! Does anyone know of any hair products that would help with my problem??

Or when it gets staticy, put a little water on your hands and pat them a little dry and rub over your hair.
Put lotion on your hands and don't rub it in all the way and run your fingers through your hair.
Brush your hair and then spray your brush with hair spray and run it through one more time.
Kels answered Tuesday March 15 2005, 8:55 pm: okay! when you wear it down, after it is parted and down, spray hair spray on your part, then take the can (of hair spray) and rub in down on the sides. i say it on that show 10years younger on TLC and ive been doing it for a long time after i saw it! it works! it sounds confusing, but when you do it, it works!
btw(by the way)- your hair will not stick to the hair spray can! :)
Bubbleschik731 answered Tuesday March 15 2005, 6:03 pm: FrizzEase by John Frieda works absolutely AWESOME. So does BioSilk. If you don't have access to these or they're too expensive, regular old body lotion does the trick. Just take a little dime-sized drop in the palm of your hand, spread onto both hands, and smooth over your scalp. The extra weight should weigh down your staticky ends. Wowitzbrit answered Tuesday March 15 2005, 3:29 pm: Use biosilk. But if you can't get that, rub lotion on your hands and run it threw your hair. But if your scalp tends to get really greasy or you get really greasy hair easy, don't do that. Have you tried striaghtening it? Or curlying it? The biosilk works, so I would recommend it first. mysticpixie05 answered Tuesday March 15 2005, 9:44 am: you could just take a fabric softner and carry it around in your purse or something and when your hair is really staticy just rub the fabric softner on your hair! Trust me, it works!!!

Its not that expensive, and it weighs your hair down and silkens it so that it wont be static and stick up. You should also make sure that you towel dry your hair really well to get all the excess water out of your hair before blow drying it. You could try some of the frizz ease products that are out there also. Hope this helps!

S_C answered Tuesday March 15 2005, 6:34 am: I remember a while back someone asked a question like this, and one of the answers were use one of those things that you put in the dryer that smell really good, I didn't really by it until one day my hair was super frizzy, and I used it... the frizz went away, and my hair smelled GREAT!
Ha ha, that sounded like an advertisement from like someone who used the product, that was rather funny.
But yeah, seriously, it did work. Or I know a lot of people that use friz-ease, and then there's that one, but I don't know how to spell it, sorry. [ S_C's advice column | Ask S_C A Question ]

TheTeenGirl answered Tuesday March 15 2005, 2:12 am: This may not be the problem, but static can be caused by not using one of those laundry fresheners that you throw in the drier, because if you don't put it in there, it will cause static on your clothes, and certain types of shampoo can help. I just searched up a website for you, theres a light conditioner called Biolage, I'm sure you've heard of it, just go to: [Link](Mouse over link to see full location), its a pretty low price, just read the description below it.
SAMzasis answered Monday March 14 2005, 11:47 pm: No, but I suggest just geling it for the hell of it. Your hair would look cool that way. I think. I don't know. If I knew how you looked like, I'm sure I can help you a lot more. But for now, I'm very useless. I am sorry. But using Gel works! Yea, Chris (this dude) has this like... bowl-cut type thing, but when he gels it all back, it looks ver awesome, AND we some just calls him "helmet head" cause it's sooo hard like a helmet. It's pretty funny... well yea, that's about it for me!
