i know i am not fat but...

okay to start off i know i am not FAT. but i am 4 foot 11 inches and weight about 105. and i dont care what the scale says i care about the way i look. being so short for my age and having a regular appetite for my age doesnt help. i play 2-3 sports but i know i dont eat very healthy. i just dont like the way my stomach looks...my friends all say i am fine but really they are my friends what are they going to say?....

please tell me if you think i am just exaggerating or i should eat healthier/exercise more but PLEASE do it nicely...(i.e: dont swear and call me an idiot)

103, 105... same thing, basically.

Make peace with your stomach. You've acknowledged that you don't think you're fat, and it's very hard to control that... pooch that a lot of girls (including myself) have. A lot of guys even think it's really cute. Few people have perfect, flat stomachs.

If you wanna try eating healthy and doing crunches every other day (never every), go for it, but if it doesn't work, learn to love the way your stomach looks, you'll be saner.

Your definately in great shape! Keep it up! Your appetite is going to be good due to the fact that you play 2-3 sports. In fact, you can eat basically what you want (well in moderation of course) Don't deny yourself the foods you enjoy, as this will just make you obsess about food and might lead to an eating disorder. Allow yourself to enjoy foods, just don't overdo it. As for how you feel about yourself, you really have to believe for yourself that your beautiful. A million people can tell you that, but you'll end up just feeding off of other's comments on you and if for one second someone doesn't mention anything, you'll feel discontent. I know it's hard, especially in our society, but you must truly love yourself. Enjoy the sports you do, enjoy time with friends .. enjoy the little things in life, the sun, the birds, that coffee in the morning, a favorite song ... take pleasure in these things as that's what the content of life is ... Everyone has their "ugly" days (trust me, I wake up and look at myself in the mirror, and want to go right back to my comfy bed some days), but realize everyone inluding Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Lopez, Mary Kate and Ashely .. or the poplular girl in your school, all go through the same thing (except unfornately they are burdened with having to feel they have to meet standards ... that's a huge burden!!!) You should ALWAYS...ALWAYS eat heathier and exercise a moderate amount. Junk food is good for no one, even stick thin girls. Just up the anty on a stricter diet.

look, EVERY one is alittle incecure about there body! If u know that you dont eat healthy then i think for your "health" sake i think you should eat more good food, i suggest fruits and vegatibles...home cooked meals dont hurt either!But for your "bodies" sake i think you should try working out more... lift weights,do crunches/sit ups or run on a tredmill! I know you! lol... yeah so I honestly wouldn't worry. You don't wanna end up like me. And people see you from a TOTALLY different view than you see yourself. You honestly look fine.

Now, I know your not the healthiest person. Just try eating more fruits and veggies, be like me :D. You're just a picky eater lol. Hmm.. what about granola bars? I think those are pretty good for you.. rice cakes? idk lol

You weight may be low, but your body to fat ratio is off, I'm guessing. Do lots of cardio--stuff that will get you pumped. Not only will you have more energy as time goes by, but you will shed that fat.

I think the best thing for you to do is to keep eating regularly but eat smaller portions. That way you aren't hungry..If you continue to do that the size of your stomach will shrink down. It's the best way to diet, if that's what you want. It doesn't seem like you need to exercise much more..so just try eating less at mealtimes and snack on fruit. I did that and I lost 5 lbs in a month. My doctor says that the healthiest way to diet.

Nothing to worry about. At your height, that is what can be considered 'normal', but normal is diferent for everyone. And if you think your stomach looks big from the topside.... thats just your point of view. People in front of beside you see it at a totally different angle, so only you may think your fat, and they're your friends..... I dont tihnk they'd lie to you about your weight, heh. Nothing to die over ^^

I'm the exact same height as you!! It's about time I find someone who's as tall as me! You're only 6lbs more than me so it's not that big of a difference. So I would say your fine. But if you want to make your stomach look better, then just do exercises that focus totally on your stomach! Crunches help you a whole bunch! Any kind of crunches! And I don't think your exaggerating becuase I think I could afford to lose a few extra pounds. Everyone has some sort of fat in a place that they want to get rid of!

I don't think you're exaggerating cuz I went through the same thing. Although I was skinny, some parts of me weren't!

Eating healthy is always the key to a healthy lifestyle. But you can occasionally indulge on your junky foods, just on occasion not always. As for exercise, if your stomach is the only thing bothering you, just work on that and nothing else.

Ok i know this might sound mean but its not, If you want to get good excersizes go to .. www.am-i-fat.com. Its a good website and you can see really good excersizes. All you need to do is eat healthy and excersize<< its as easy as that.

dont worry... you are getting a great amount of excercise with 3 sports! 4'11" and 105 is great but if you still feel unhappy with yourself then just try to eat healthier. like set limits for yourself. say youre only allowed to have like 1 snack a day and you have to have at least like 1 fruit or something like that. hope i helped!

I think this is probably just an over exaggeration. But, I think its safe to try doing something about it, because you won't do it to please others. If your stomach problem is that its not flat, then sit-ups will help it, about 25 sit-ups a day. You can go on ahead and try eating healthy, but don't go and say, "I want a hamburger, but I will make myself eat a salad." Try to please yourself, you're a skinny young girl, the ages where you can pig out without getting fat! Plus, you definetly won't gain weight, because you play 2-3 sports! I don't play any sports and I eat what I want and I'm still skinny.
