St. Patrick's Day

Question Posted Saturday March 12 2005, 6:47 pm

On St. Patrick's Day it is my birthday. My family was planning to go to New York (I live in the Tri-state area so it's pretty close) to see the St. Patrick's Day parade (my brother is marching in it). The only problem is in my science class we will be disecting a heart. Even though it's kinda gross I really wanted to be there for it. So now I have to chose to either go to a parade tomorrow or on my birthday. What should I do? I honestly have no idea.

[ Answer this question ]

Additional info, added Saturday March 12 2005, 7:32 pm:
Please do not tell me not to disect the heart that it is a crime or something it is completely scientfic and my teacher made sure (my classmates including me made her make sure) that the sheep were not shot for our useage..

If it were me, I would go to the parade. But I would suggest talking with your family. You might hurt your brother if you don't go. But if he truly says he doesn't care and do whatever you want to do, then I would do what you want! Especially because it's your birthday =), happy early birthday!

Hope I helped.

I think you should go to see your brother in the parade. There will be many more chances to see a heart being dissected. Besides, the parade will be fun. Specially if it'll be your birthday too. :)

If you really truly want to be there for the heart disection, then just go tomarrow or the day you arent disecting the heart. Whatever you do make sure you will not regret it in the future. Also, keep in mind that your parents are planning of going for your birthday so make sure they wont get upseat that you want to go tomarrow.
Always there...

Your birthday comes once a year, and the parade is once a year<< i think. disecting a heart never comes around. Maybe you can go to the parade and then leave early so you can disect the heart. Ask your friends and see what you should do. Have a great birthday! have fun:) xoxo BLONDE911
