Straightners

Question Posted Friday March 11 2005, 9:27 pm

Hey! I straighten my hair alot, but my straightner takes at least an hour for me to straighten my hair (and it still does barely anything) does anyone know of a certain brand or type of straightner that will straighten my hair quickly, and make give it that straight glossy look? without frying my hair? tHANKS A BUNCH!

I have naturally curly hair and I like to straighten my hair once a week. It takes me forever to dry my hair because I have a lot but the straightner I have works wonders. And my hair is healthy so it's not hurting it. I use Conair..Ceramic Technology.

Chi works the best.

However, they're usually 100-150 dollars.

CHI's are probably one of the best, but they're expensive. The one I have is Revlon, and I absolutely love it. It works really good. Basically, you want to look for something with heat settings and gold plates. Hope I helped! ♥ Kristen

Here's what I think: From what I hear dont use clothe irons they burn and damage your hair. I also heard Chi's are cheap and aren't that good either. My recommendation would be a professional like Revlon or something like that. The Straightener that I have is a professional Revlon and its a steam one and it gives you that glossy look your looking for but i rarely use mine bcuz I am too lazy. I have really wavy thick poofy hair and I just used it once and man it worked good! Revlon Professional with the steam thats good - Katrina aka here x 2 x help

To the best of my knowledge a CHI is the best. I straighten my hair a lot and so do my friends. I don't recommend a Hot tools that what I have and it's not the best thing out there. Ceramic are the second best but if you are already going to spend money get a CHI

a chi, but if your looking for something cheaper or to buy at like a dept. store i would get any kind of gold plated straightener.. i wouldnt buy any one with attatchments either like a crimp attatchment or whatever cause they r usually for like little girls. Also i would get a anti-frizz or this kind of spay i have, just ask in a beauty shop for it, its a spray you use before straightening your hair n that helps too. hope i helped! xo ashley

a CHI. it`s about 200 bucks but it`s awesome. i have a helen of troy and it takes me about an hour. but with the CHI it only takes about 10 minutes. in my opinion the CHI is worth it.

A CHI or an Helen of Troy will definitely straighten your hair quickly and it will give you that glossy, straight look if you don't straighten your hair that much.
