hey im 13/f and i have been shaving since i was 11 but my mom doesnt know cuz i never asked her im way to scared to talk to her about anything
what do i do?
real question:how do i ask my mom that i want to shave?

Well, your mom is your mom. You have to be able to talk to her about anything. Just tell her mom, can i shave? It really isnt hard. She is your mom.

You dont have to tell her you shave and i think 11 is a very young age to shave if you do want to tell her im sure she will understand as she probley shaves her self

Hey, shaving is nothing to be embarrassed about it. Talk to your mom, and be like, 'Mom, most girls in my class our shaving now, and I feel like I am ready to shave now, too. Would you show me how?' I know you already know how to shave, but adding on that last question will make all the difference. Moms love to teach their daughters those 'coming of age' things, like shaving and putting on makeup and stuff like that. I'm sure she will be more than happy to show you. If you don't want to tell her you already have been shaving for awhile, make sure you don't shave for awhile so your legs aren't smooth when you ask her. That might be a bit suspicious. :)
Or... just tell her the truth! Tell her you have already been shaving and wanted to let her know. Don't be afraid to talk to your mom about stuff...she was a girl once too, and most moms give great advice, believe it or not. Good luck, hope that helped!

hey gurlie i never asked my mom niether but i did it anyway and i told her that i did cuz ppls was making fun of me. Just tell your mom and say that you were scared that she would be mad but you feel that its time for you to grow up

Your mom will understand because its normal at your age.and jsut tell her that you want to shave because you think you have hairy legs does your mom shave? ask her when she started to shave? maybe she started and maybe she might just say you can!but well dont be scared its not like your mom will like tell every one its your MOM! but dont be scared just talk to her shell understand!

Sure, this is embarresing, but remember this, she had a time when she had to tell her mother to, its not easy for all girls, but remember this too, if you need shaving tips or anything, you can always ask me, I will answer you straight forward, I won't ask who you are. But this site gets LOTS of questions about shaving, so you can ask anytime. You should go to your mom and say, "Mom, I think I need to start shaving." And she will help you.
