HeY! i'm 16... (17 in 2 months) and i just started going out with a guy whos 20 years old... the thing is.. he thinks i'm turning 18... and i'm scared to tell him... because i dont want to loose him! what should i do?
nocturnalkid answered Friday March 11 2005, 2:13 pm: You should tell him. It's not fair for him to be in a dishonest relationship. If you guys have sex, he could end up going to jail because you didn't tell him the truth. [ nocturnalkid's advice column | Ask nocturnalkid A Question ]
sexy_as_fcuk answered Friday March 11 2005, 1:33 pm: Be honest with him. my ex always used to think i was 18. He was 22 at the time. I jus told him there and then. I cant see your boyfreind having a problem with it unless you have lead him to believe you are older than you actually are. [ sexy_as_fcuk's advice column | Ask sexy_as_fcuk A Question ]
RaCheLbaYbEe answered Thursday March 10 2005, 9:57 pm: As hard as it is, you have to be honest with your boyfriend, especially if you love him. Im sure your aware that it`s illegal to be going out with him even if you want to - statuatory rape (sp?) So, you have to let him know so he knows what he is doing. I really hope this all works out & you stay together. ♥ [ RaCheLbaYbEe's advice column | Ask RaCheLbaYbEe A Question ]
MummuM answered Thursday March 10 2005, 9:44 pm: You have to tell this guy the truth about your age. A relationship is all about trust, so make this guy realize he can trust you and tell him your real age. If he really likes and cares about you, he'll let this one slide. I'm sure it won't be a really big deal. Make sure you explain to him how much you don't want to lose him over something this silly. Add in your sorrys and I'm sure he'll understand everything.

lildiamyn_69 answered Thursday March 10 2005, 8:53 pm: well, i won't lecture you about the age or anything.
but tell this guy the truth before he finds out another way. make sure you include your sorrys and all that=P
if he's a keeper, then he'll let this one slide.
i've been in that situation, and even though i was scared, i told him, and he was okay with it.
