"A child called It" is a really good book, but an even better one is a book called "Hannahs Gift"
Here is a bit about it

Every once in a while a book appears that is so special, it is destined not just to be read but to be cherished, to be passed from one reader to another as a precious gift. Filled with wisdom and grace, Hannah's Gift is one such book. Within its pages, Maria Housden shares the transformative lessons in living she received from her three-year-old daughter, Hannah, who brought courage, honesty and even laughter to her struggle with cancer.

It is a really touching book, it has really funny bits, really sad bits but most of all loads of inspirational bits.
It also has a website and you can contact the author through it! The website is WWW.HannahsGift.Com

Anyone else that reads this post go there too, it's a really special book.

Melanie

I have to agree with Sherry and that you should definitely read a book by Nicholas Sparks. He wrote some books that were made into movies such as "The Notebook" and "A Walk To Remember". Lois Duncan and Lurlene McDaniel have written a lot of books and I have read a few for my school reports. Hope I helped :)

i read this book "multiple choice" once. it's a good book. it may seem kind of boring at first, but it gets really good. it's about this girl, her family has this obsession with words and she starts this game called multiple choice and gives each letter an option, and chooses a letter out of the bag. then, the letters get her in trouble...but you'll have to read it to find out. hope i helped!

XoUkrainianBabeXo answered Tuesday February 15 2005, 5:31 pm:
personally i hated this book but if you like stuff that has to do with drugs and stuff maybe you will enjoy "I never Promised you a Rose Garden" "I Never Promised You a Rose Garden presents a complete picture of mental illness from the patient's point of view, without the stigma of wrongness that is frequently associated with it. The picture painted is a very real one, from Deborah's relief when the doctors confirm what she's known all along, that something is not right, to the way her family deals with the fact of her illness. Greenberg/Green evokes very strong emotions with her writing. You feel Deborah's fear that her secret world of Yr will punish her for revealing its existence to her doctor, and you share in her triumph when she begins to make her way back to the world. I put down this book with a little more understanding of how it must feel to be mentally ill." summary of the book that i found

Nicholas Sparks. He writes books that has turned into movies like The Notebook,Walk to Remember, and Message in the bottle. If you like any of those movies, you'll be sure to like the book. All of his books are romance novels and I love them! Any book by Nicholas Sparks would be a good choice!
