just don't weigh enough

hi,


i've taken the whole am-i-fat testing and stuff from different websites, and they all say the same thing, that i don't weight enough. i don't have an eating disorder or anything like that. my doctor i guess knows about this, but hasn't really told me to do anything. so... what can i do? i eat until i'm full, and thats it. please don't say "eat more!". i'll rate you if you give extremely good advice, give extremely funny advice, or give extremely bad advice.

well the am-i-fat testing things arent even that valid, but if you doctor says your underweight, ask him if you can try some weight gaining drinks like these: Support for Cancer or Ensure Plus (have nutritional ingredients and lots of calories that are needed to gain weight)

well thin one you said not to say to eat more but you should exept work out so that when you gain weight it wont be like a fat belly but you will be stronger and not fat but you will weigh more...or you can just eat fatning food but still workout too to get stronger and again not get a belly but be strong ...

If you don't have an eating disorder and you eat until you're full, you're fine. Don't worry about it, you just ahve an extremely fast metabolism, I know alot of people like that. I guess your doctor has also realised that you're fine, but if you still have worries, ask him. Those online tests aren't always true. I think you'll be just fine, don't worry.

You probably have very fast metabolism. Try eating protein like meat,eggs,peanut butter, fish etc. Don't over eat, because it's unhealthy. Exercise is helpful because it builds up muscle and muscle weighs more than fat. Just contiue to eat right, eat protein, and exercise and you'll do fine. Hope this helps!!

Well, maybe you just have a very fast metabolism, but you can make yourself look a little healthier if you wish:

- Exercise to give your body a stronger look
- Drink milk shakes often
- Have frequent small meals
- Carry around Goldfish, nuts, or raisins for snacks
- Have dessert!

Clothes:
- Avoid head-to-toe tight clothes- you'll feel too skinny
- Wear tight jeans OR a tight tee, not both
- Feel free to wear bold prints and bright colors
- White jeans will make you look healthier
- If you really want to look less skinny, layer your clothes

However, remember am-i-fat is computerized. Only your doctor can tell you if you need to gain weight or not. And don't complain- most people would happily trade- it's much easier to gain weight than to lose it.

You are 13 years old.

In the next couple of years everything about you will get bigger. You will start having growth spurts and will put on more weight that way.

If your doctor isn't worrying about it then you shouldn't either.

Just follow a healthy diet and exercize to keep yourself healthy and you'll be fine - some people are just naturally thin!

Another thing you could try to beef yourself up a bit is weight training, if yuo decide to try this make sure you seek advice from an instructor!!

Well, try to work out more often and you will get muscle and that will make you weigh more. Your problem is that you have a high-metabolism and when you eat a lot of calories you dont gain weight. Just work out!

Try not to worry about it too much. You're a 13 yr. old guy? Puberty and growth spurts will kick in before you know it... at your age, it's pretty common to be scrawny.

There ARE certain foods that can help... yes, you don't want to just "eat more" and especially DON'T just eat junk food. Eat lots of protein, and other good-for-you foods. Don't skip meals- especially not breakfast.

well. im the same, but alot skinnier..and for me, it's hell trying to gain weight. iver searched on the internet for a whole bunch of ways but they dont seem to help. and this fasting for lent doesnt seem to help much either lol. try not to eat so much that it gets you sick, the stomachache is realy bad; well for me. here are some sites you can get some info on:

if you want to gain weight, then eat those caltine (sp) bars..the ones regina eats from mean girls (LOL thats the only way i new how to explain what i was talkin about) but if the doctor doesnt tell you that you need to gain weight, then i guess you are ok!

ok want to gain weight...work out and build your muscles while balancing your sugar intake and all that junk. Muscle weighs more than fat. Plus working out takes a lot of energy an dyou will need to replenish it with more food. Just figure out wher eyou want to gain weight at and then look at what work out to do. Iono what else to tellyou. Not very many people wnat to gain wieght...

Hey, i have a friend of mine who is totally extremely skinny. She goes to the doctor and they think she needs to gain some weight as thats what she told me . No matter how much she eats she just cant gain weight. Make sure your parents and doctors know you dont have a eating disorder lol. Theres no such thing as weighing enough. You probably just have a extremely fast matabalism: The process of cells burning food to produce energy. This is similar to a car's engine burning gasoline to produce the energy that is used to rotate the car's wheels. The cell’s mitochondria acts as the car’s engine, the food we eat acts as the gasoline, and the energy we need to move and think is similar to the energy used to move the car. Also referred to as energy metabolism. { i googled the definition just in case you didnt know what it was lol}. Good Luck ;)

look, the army tells me i am fat, but minus maybe 10 pounds, i say i look ok! to me, the tell tail sign is in the face. if it's fat, your ok. you have to think...first, you are 13 and male. at that age i was light also. maybe 130?
anyhow, if you wanna gain wieght, get married. if you dont want to lose weight, dont smoke crack or take stackers. i'll tell you what, your about old enough to start wieght training without having to worry about acne too bad. start lifting. the need for your muscles to have energy will make you hungry. if you are agressive enough at cardio, you cant eat whatever the hell you want. just remember, don't worry about this crap until your at least 18. i mean, hell, look at scott wieland of STP and velvet revolver. he is a GD toothpick! never mind the fact skinny guys usually end up being the most hung people anyhow. bastards!
