See, last night I put in my tampon at about 6:00. I wore it all night long and accidentally fell asleep with it in and wore it until 9:00 this morning. My stomach hurts a little but maybe that's because i got a little drunk last night? I dont know though, I'm scared because i've read so many things about Toxic Shock Syndrome. So what should i do? Thanks!! I rate!

If you start feeling really light headed, and have severe cramps, or are running a high fever.. Go to the hospital immediately. Other wise dont freak out or nothing prolly just a slight hangover.But try not to wear a tampon again that long.

..i dont think it is TSS...warning signs are vomiting, diahrreah, severe pain...extreme headaches...but if you are worried you should go to a doctor and get it checked out...i hope everything works out all right!

ok i dont wanna scare you but this is really really really bad. remember forr later ONLY WEAR TAMPONS FOR 8 HOURS AT THE MOST. but for now, tell your mom or someone in your family and see a doctor. hope i helped

Go see a doctor.TSS is very serious so you need to get it checked out in time.And from now on,never wear a tampon for more than 8 hours!no matter what!

i did that once it shouldn't really harm you. you may feel a little sick, but try not to do it again.

TSS is extremely rare but leaving a tampon in for more than 8 hours is not a good thing either. I am almost positive that the stomach ache is from period symptoms and may or may not have something to do with the fact that you were drunk last nite. Drink lots of water, i hope you changed the tampon by now but keep an eye out for symptoms: [Toxic shock syndrome from Staphylococcus starts suddenly with vomiting, high fever (temperature at least 102 degrees Fahrenheit, or 38.8 degrees Celsius), a rapid drop in blood pressure (with lightheadedness or fainting), watery diarrhea, headache, sore throat, and muscle aches. Within 24 hours, a sunburn-like rash appears. There also may be bloodshot eyes and an unusual redness under the eyelids or inside the mouth (and vagina in females)] if you have none of these symptoms then i am sure you are fine-but try to be more responsible with tampons :) best of luck i hope your okay!!!

Hey, don't worry, you don't have TSS and your stomach only hurts probably from drinking last night. You should wait a little bit more and if it still hurts, then you probably just need to take something to relieve the pain. Don't worry, this is normal and a lot of girls usually do this. Hope I helped :)

Hun dont worry about it. I do it all the time.. which reminds me I have to go change mine now... but anyways.. dont even worry about it... you'll be fine! its only a once in a blue moon thing. And yea I bet your stomache does hurt cuz of partyin last night... ROCK ON! lol

It prob isnt tss. It prob is just the drinking. But if you feel like really bad, maybe go tell your mom.....I mean if you had it in for a little longer than you should have like one time, im sure nothing is going to be wrong with you.

i would wait a few hours but chances are youd know about it if you had tss so i would tell someone just in case but i done that before and ive been fine.it might be period pains.hope i helped xxxx

Well wait a couple more hours then if it still hurts go to the docter maybe its just becuz you got drunkk last nighgt like you said but if it still hurts around 3 or 4 go see a docter as soon as you can
