No way- you are only one year apart! If your Mr or Ms (I don't know if you are a girl or a boy) Right happens to be a little older or younger than you, then thats just how it was ment to go. Ignore these stupid people. As long as they arn't seven or something, thats fine.

Everyone has their own opinion. And that's just how it is. No one can really tell you why people think it's wrong. Maybe it is the factor that you are moving from middle school to high school to get a boyfriend or girlfriend. That sometimes isn't well expected. And, is the girl older than the guy? People think that's odd sometimes. Also, it's a common misconception that just because you're in 9th grade you have to be way more mature than the 8th grader. Think about it and I hope I helped.

well it is and it isn't. The reason people are saying that is because when you are that young they exspect you to go out w/ someone as mature as you are. Which they think to go out w/ someone younger is like goin out w/ an imature kid. But it isn't. They just think that you should go out w/ someone as mature as you! Hope i helped!

High school and Junior high are two different worlds so that's why people will have opinions like that. The only thing is that you two know how you feel about each other so don't listen to other people and do what you feel is right for both of you.

Some people think its wrong because your dating someone that is a lower class than you. Kinda like a rich girl getting married to a poor guy. But see those people are just stupid and we dont pay attention to them. So do what you want, dont let anyone stop you.

It isn't wrong. People might think so because of the "middle school/high school" "gap" but there really isn't one. The two numbers are just one apart, and age is just a state of mind anyway. I'll never understand people who think that 9th/8th grade is wrong, but I think that's what they're thinking.
