Mixed feelings
I like this guy I'll call him Brian, when he had a girlfriend he always flirted with me, but Friday his girlfriend broke up with him then he was at a dance I went to and we barely spoke. I kept trying to talk to him but he barely said a word. I'm wondering why he didn't talk to me. Also there's a rumor that he likes me, do you think he does. (Sorry that its long)

i think maybe the reality of his breakup hit him and he BECAME upset.. he might not have been upset before, but maybe he is now.. Just give him some time and space and everything will work itself out.

Just because he didn't SEEM upset when she saw him, doesn't mean he wasn't. Guys hide their feelings too. Maybe he was bummed because he was at the dance without a girlfriend, and it made him think about his relationship just ended. Don't let that knock you off your road to success. Talk to him, tell him you wanna hang out. If you need to, even offer to pay.. it gets the guys more interested in going the first time, then hopefully, your wonderful charm and cute smile will win him over and he'll want to chill ALL THE TIME.. on him. ;)

Deep down inside Brian is probably hurt. He probably has a connected with his girlfriend and now he knows that he is without her. Also, there is always the possibility that he likes you...but he probably does not want to start anything up really soon. Just keep talking to him and you will probably continue to grow and someday go out!

Well if his g/f broke up with him, then he probally wasnt in the mood to talk. I know i wouldnt really want to talk to people. About the rumor get one of your friends to ask him if he likes you. If he does get them to tell him that you like him back. Hope fully things will go for the good and things will work out

maybe hes afraid to talk to you because he just go out of a relationship, and is afraid to get hurt again. give him some time then try talking to him again. and for the rumor, dont worry about it. it could be true, but it also could be just a rumor. dont get your heart set on it. just give it some time. hope i helped

Just a guess.. maybe his girlfriend heard the rumor about him liking you, and that's why she broke up with him. So maybe now, he feels uncomfortable talking to you, especially in public. This may not be true, but it's just what it sounds like happened.
