Oh my gosh. I love yoga. It will really give you a workout but in a calming way. It really helps on your flexibility, and building muscles, which will make you lose fat. So yes, yoga is the perfect workout to lose fat, but you will enjoy it as well.

If you are overweight, there is a good chance that one contributing factor to you weight problem is your stress level. Some people store more fat when they are stressed and many people eat as a way to cope with stress... The motions of Yoga will help with thte stress problems. Also you are moveing about while practicing yoga, so you will burn more calories doin it than, say sitting at your backside in front of your TV or your computer... But it is not the areobic workout that get- there are more efficieant ways to burn the most calories.

Yoga does not help you lose weight. Yoga is designed to help you relax and ease your mind, etc. And yes, water does help you lose weight. There are no calories, carbs, or anything in it to harm your chances of losing weight. Drink away. Although if you drink a lot of water, you will pee a lot, haha.

Well, yoga is really suppose to help your breathing and be more relaxed. I don't think it burns fat but it may help reduce food cravings.
