is it normal? I'm a teen girl going through puberty and my private has losened up. I never had sex before so it couldn't have "stretched" that way. Also, around the edges of the viginia it's turning a dark tan color. What is this and is it normal? Also, are there any exercises i can do to tighten it up?
thnx so much, i really need your help!

im sure in normal, your body is probally just getting use to producing eggs, and the tan part, well i never had that but it is probally just your body type. if this does not go away in about 3 to 4 months then i would either tell your mom or a docor! that what their there for right!

your probably just getting a really bad disease and are going to die soon. sorry ]

hey. yah, it's totally normal. It strethches because after you start puberty your body is ready to have a baby. So the stretching is normal. The tan color is also normal. ]

you have a bad disease.... get help ]
This is what you go through. It is very normal for this to happen and you dont need to tighten it up. If you have had an Orgasiam it will loosen up and that is normal. If you have had your period it will loosen also. You do not need to exercise to make it tighter. When you do have sex it will feel much better for it to be loose.
I'm Here to help!

Its perfectly normal. The older you get, the more your vaginal lips move apart. I don't have an expalntion for it, but theres one book I highly reccomend for you if you have anymore questions, and its honestly called "The Period Book". It answers questions such as yours and informs you of how your body will change throughout the course of puberty and beyond. By, the way, there are no exercises to tighten it up, its normal.

it's perfectly normal around 12-16 and u dont have ne thing to worry about ]
If you haven't gotten it already, your period is comming. That's what happens. Then when it does happen every month, the same thing will happen to your vagina every month. ]
Everything you are describing is normal. You have nothing to worry about.
If your vagina seems to be slightly looser, it could be because you are getting more used to feeling it, and that means your body might be more relaxed. So, really, your vagina could be exactly the same as ever, just less tensed if you are putting in a tampon or exploring yourself.
It's quite common for the lips around a vagina (the inner labia, they've called) to be a dark colour. I'll also point out that your genitals will change shape (the lips become more full and the vagina will loosen up) and colour (usually darkening) when you are sexually excited and blood floods into the area.
I don't think you have to worry about tightening your vagina, but if you are truly concerned about this issue you can speak to your doctor. ]
During this time practically everythiung is considered normal cuz all kinds of weird things are happening. This is perfectly normal but if you have any other quesitons and don't want to asky uo mother-figure or doctor just post them here or ask me. ]
hey thats happened to me and dont worry the dark tan stuff is just hair growing on it so dont worry. but if you are really concerned about it just tell your mom or someone you can trust. hope i helped. ]
This is what happens to every girl and you have nothing to worry about. You can't do anything to tighten it up but there are pelvic floor excercises to tighten your pelvic floor muscles where you hold the muscles you use to stop yourself peeing and hold them for about 20 seconds and do it about 5 times a day. Please don't think this is only happening to you. It happens to everybody and it totally normal so don't worry! ]
Yes, there are exercises you can do to tighten your muscles up. They're called kegal exercises. Search the web a bit on how to do them. They're really quite easy, it's basically just the muscle you use when you really have to go pee, but your not close to a bathroom, so you just tighten your muscles. You can do it anytime, incorporate it into your regular schedule, do them while your doing homework, a test, watching tv, searching the internet.
Not only does it help to keep you from getting "loose", it can help after childbirth, but it can stop you from having any kind of urinary problems as you get older.
Search online for different ways to do it. Again, it's KEGAL EXERCISES. ]
ask your doctor that might help...even if it is embarresing ]
