i'm a 17 yr old male that has a false reputation of being gay. i'm actually metrosexual and almost all the school assumes i'm gay. how can i show my peers that i'm straight without betraying who i am.

Well, you can't... metrosexuality is a very hard thing to try and come off as straight while doing.
Maybe you can get a girlfriend. But then they may think that you're just bisexual.

Ignore it seriously, if you leave it alone they will get bored of it eventually. You shouldn't have to prove yourself to anyone out there. If your friends can't accept you and not belive you when you say your not gay then they really aren't good friends are they... If they are going to believe rumours about you then they are not worth it, and trying to show them you're not, might actually make it worse as you will be in "denile". Just deny it when you want and laugh when the rumours come around, laughter is the best way because then the people will feel stupid for believing it. Just relax and screw what everyone else thinks

Tell them to grow up. Tell them, "if you want to know if I'm really gay or not try shoving something in my ass and see how I like it, better yet shove something up your ass and I'm sure you'll like it" Flirt with girls more. You really don't have to prove anything to them, but I understand it is hard in highschool to have people saying things about you that are not true. If someone says something to you, call them on it and state why it is not true. Maybe try talking about girls you like, or at least think are pretty. Don't go and get yourself a gilfriend like others are saying just to prove you are straight, that's just dumb. Be true to yourself.

In life you just have to be yourself, don’t try to be any one else and don’t try to alter or change your image or how others see you. People can either accept and like you for who you are or they can fuck off. Its that simple. If people mistake you for being gay that’s fine. Theirs nothing wrong with being gay. i have a friend that is this way. he has the same problem, he's not gay, but assumed it by everyone else. if people have a problem with you being a cetain way, that's thier problem, not yours. Your friends are the ones that stick with you, they're the only ones that matter anyway
