Are they judging me?
In school, I always feel like people are judging me. Only the popular ones though (because I'm not popular, I'm just average). I always watch what I do, to make sure it's something the popular kids would "agree" with (I guess?). It's not that I want to be popular (because, believe me, I really don't), but I just want to feel comfortable around them. It's kind of a weird topic, but I want to get it off my mind. I hate not being myself and I want to stop, but it's hard. I want to know your opinion on this. Thank you so much

Don't worry about what other poeple think of you. Do you really think theyll make a difference in your life? And do you think it'll matter what they think of you in the next 5 years or so? Be your self maybe the "popular" kids will like that about you and maybe you'll find something new and interesting about yourself

Stop worrying about what they think. It causes too much stress to constantly modify your behavior around these people just to impress them. Be yourself, and so what if they don't agree with you? Over time they'll see that you don't care what they think, and ultimately you'll be much more respected for it.

In order to stay popular, MOST, not all luckily or I wouldn't believe in God, popular people feel the need to find faults in others to try to hide their OWN shortcomings and insecurities. This is the only superioirity many of them have. It is their job to keep the people around them feeling "unworthy" of their presence. Even people they call their friends. I am talking the 90%. The 10% who aren't posers don't need those kind of games. but it's really hard to get close to them with so many posers in the way. Don't worry that you feel odd around these people. Keep trying to be yourself. Grade school popularity really only counts in grade school.

Guess what..after school..most of the popular kids become huge losers..either marry early or do drugs..most of them...nada...in life.
See the just averages or geeks..strive to be better..and they are...most become rich at the very least..they always better themselves.
So..who the heck cares what they think of you. In HS..it ENDS after graduation...college..there are NO popular people..just everyone..equal.
So..do WHAT you like...in the end..theses people fade away..trust me...
I know this is ahrd..HS is the TOUGHEST time you will go through in your life...
Be a vanguard..start you own trends..in the end..maybe the POPS won't like you..but in the end..you won't really like them either....

I've always been a misfit. I mean an actual misfit. Not until recent have I felt I had a real friend not only liked me but I actually liked back and I actually fitted in with. I've never been able to relate to my "friends". I've never actually been able to connect with my "friends". In many levels I personally didn't consider them friends... just people I was supposed to socialize with and had taken a liking to me. ...Oddly people tend to like me more for that, the fact that I managed to stay myself.
I know what you mean by not wanting to be one of them just wanting NOT to be judged. I'm sorry to say that nothing can work for that. It's what "they" (the people that do that... its not just the "poupular" people) judge the small things. Things can't always be perfect because everyone has different thoughts on perfection.
You'll do much more by being yourself because people will ACTUALLY admire you. If you try to be "liked" even if only not to be judged people will STILL critizise you. I'm telling you this to motive you. This IS my opinion.

lol gf don't give a shit what people think about you.. in the real world as long as you are intelligent you will be their boss while they are below you... school is only good for 3 things hooking up, making friends, and learning... that's why you pay so much money to go... not to care what other people think about you

oK... so i always feel like everyone is watching me... and making fun of me.. but chances are they really aren't concerned... their more concerned with how their hair looks or which of their gropus of friends is wearing what... i know u shouldnt care what other people think of you.... but LoL everybody knows that they do... so be yourself... if your being your true self then chances are they aren't going to even think about you! i know how you feel though! in middle school... i was tramutized by what the 9th graders were thinking of me when i was a little sevie! haha but i grew out of it! girls can be catty... but if your yourself... everyone will lOvE ya! good luck Hun!

Honestly, I think that you should just do what YOU want to do. People ARE judging you. Thats what school is all about! The important thing is to realise that the people who are judging you and really CARE about what they think of you are idiots and they're not the type of people you would want to please anyway. I can't tell you how to be comfortable around them, because I'm not really, but I have to say if you're not trying to be someone else, its going to be harder to feel comfortable, because, really, who can feel comfortable when they're pretending? And I think people will respect you more if you show that you aren't afraid of them and don't mind if they think you're "uncool" or whatever. I hope this helps!

ok i am not bragging or ne thing but being a former cheerleader i would know i didnt really think i was popular but i hung out with the "in crowd" and trust me they do not judge you as much as you think actuly most of the "popular people" are to concerned with what people think about them and how they are getting pipmles that even with a microscope nobody would see, that they really dont notice what is happening around them(no offence). have you ever wondred y all the jocks and cheerleaders are concired dumb that is because they are to wraped up in their social life to do their school work.(lol) but ne ways dont worry about what others think i know it is easier said then done but it works so feel free to be youself.

Well just pretend that we're not there.. well your people that you have a prob. one girl actually came up to me telling me that she felt like she had to act cool for me to ever except her and that she thought i gave her dirty looks.. but you know im not telling you to go up to them adn tell them but i just told her to act like i wasnt there if that helps her but i never did have a prob. with her b-cuz i dont judge someone before i actually meet them myself and get my own prospective

Do what you want, popular people will always judge you no matter what. So do what you want...you shouldent try to change just for them. I mean, you said you didnt even want to be popular..so why are you trying to get them to accept you?
