Straight Hair + Scrunching = NO NO!!
my hair is straight...and up to my waist...all my friends have wavy hair nd always scrunch their hair..its reallie cute..but when i try doing mine it doesnt turn out right...like i'll put my hair in braids over night, take it owt nd use my aussie sprunch spray, but it just doesnt stay in..any advice?!

it may be too long. what i would recommend is donating it to locks of love, and then you could have the cute hairstyle you want. and you win in two ways, you make someone happy, and you get an awesome hair style!

ok well i scrunch my hair by like drying it off with a towel so its not that wet and then i take some gel and come from the bottom of my hair and go to the top where it starts and then i put some hair spray in to and do the same thing and when im done its kind of wet so i go in my room and turn on the fan to help it dry faster..

if you want to continue braiding, make sure your hair is damp, but not soaking wet when you braid it and spray it with a little hairspray and when you take it out in the morning spray it some more. what i do when i scrunch my hair though is i take a shower in the morning then towel dry it a little then i take strong holding mousse and just scrunch my hair with that, then spray it a little and it lasts all day for me! hope i helped! if you ever need advice you can always drop a note in my inbox! rate me! <33

try getting it wet then putting gel, hairspray or both in. then scrunch. u could also try getting a perm!

hello,my hair is scrunced right now..well what i did is washed my hair really good when i was in the shower and when i got out i brushed it and then i blow dryed it a lil only a lil and then i flipped my head over and put gel in my hair (i have gel thats level 10 extra hold lol) and umm i scrunced everywhere and right now its still holdin together and its really wavvy and then i hair sprayed it so jus use those steps and it shuld help

like if u take a shower dry ur hair a little bit then while its still damp take your head and flip it over and just scrunch it and stuff then flip your head back over then get some gel and put it in there and then do the same thing and then keep scrunchin and scrunchin and scrunchin...and then put hairspray in it....thats should work...hope i helped!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! =]

get a triple barrel curling iron. they make the waves, and then you use the scrunching spray on them to get the look you want. hope i helped!

my hair is super hard to scrunch too. get it wet and just wipe it with a towel so its not completely soaked. get a good scrunching GEL and put some in your hands and squeeze your hair all the way to the top of your head. keep doing that over and over and if you want it to have a dry-natural look, blowdry while you scrunch it. it takes a while so dont go crazy if it doesnt work after 5 minutes.

if you want to have curly hair, you might need to get it cut to shoulder length. b/c if you have long hair, it is to heavy. also got 2b curled up... that is a good kind of curling gel!!

Consider yourself lucky, i would die for straight hair!!! lol. I have learned that no matter what you have (you, meaning anyone)you will always want what someone else has. The only thing I can think of to say is just try and be happy with your straight hair, so get a perm...lol its up to you.

your hair prabably is to thick and long (to hevey to hole the curals), to hold curls. what you can do is go get a perm, they do not look fake at all. or if you dont want it to be permainate then you can just use a curaling iron. hope i helped and if that does not work just find your own cute styl! have fun.

Braides? Are you serious? lol I crunch my hair a lot. The aussie hair spray doesn't work i've concluded. You have to first drench your hair in water and then get a lot of MOOSE(it's the secret trick) and put it in your hair and while your doing in grab the bottom of your hair and like just pile all of a section of your hair in your hand and like crunch it all your your hand tightening your fist while your going up to youe head. Or you can use a towel and start crunching your hair like crazy(works better) Make sure your shake your head up and down or it will become close to your head and won't move. maybe scrunching doesnt work for u try a curling iron, or get a perm, or maybe ur hair just dont hold curls, ask ur friends to try scrunching ur hair maybe u are doing it rong. hope i help
