what does this mean?
ok my boyfriend will leave me messages and at the end of them hell tell me he loves me...and then when i call him back or watever or in person he wont say it....like i wrote i love u on his hand one day cuz we wer messin around and he just smiled....im so confused why wont he say it to me in person or on the fone but hell say it in messages?

aww hes prolly really shyy...let him know that he doesnt have to be embarrassed around you and try to make him feel comfortable. He'll get over it soon enuff.

I am quite sure he is probably nervous. Thue phone is so easy to say I love you on, especially on a message. I've been there and done that. Talk to him and ask him why. He is probably just scared to. Saying it in person takes guts, no matter how much you love him. If you love him, try saying it first, and see if he says it back!

Same thing has happened to me ...i know its questiong you alot i bet...wwell maybe hes shy to tell you how he really feels about you...but he must love you alot to feel shy to say it...just dont make a big deal..you 2 just hang out alot i bet..some day he'll say it..it may be soon or not but mt Boyfrined woukdnt say it eaither and then one day he did ..so just give it time..some r shy then other boys..hope i helped

It's easier to say 'I love you' in a less pressured environment such as a message. Face to face situations are far more difficult for a guy to deal with. Perhaps you should spend more of your 'together time' with your back to him.

Because he's shy. I talk about everything and anything to my boyfriend over MSN and when we text each other, but I'm way too shy to talk about that stuff in person with him. Encourage him to tell you he loves you in person, say it to him so he gets used to the idea. If he still doesn't, then don't stress, he obviously loves yo, he's just a little shy that's all.

It's okay! Girls mature faster than guys! Saying something over instant messaging or on the phone is like gossip! You aren't looking at the person in the eyes when you say it. But don't worry. You may be ready to say it when he my be to scared. Just talk to him. I'm sure it will allwork out.

Because hes too scared to say it in person, or on the phone. And its way easier to write it or send you messages saying I love you. Ask him why he wont say it on the phone or in person..hope i helped
