musicbox379 answered Wednesday August 25 2004, 10:49 pm: Yes! From what I've heard they are wonderful pets as long as you give them love and attention. Many breads are becoming extinct due to over resourcing them for food (such as the buckeye). It would be a great idea to help save a few, so they are not food on others plates. I would also make sure not to put them around animals in which they might get into a conflict with. It is refreshing to see someone else wanting to take a step out of the "chicken is food" stereotype. Chickens are living creatures just like you and me. XoXMeLiSsA13XoX answered Thursday August 19 2004, 2:31 am: yes, they would most likley be a good pet if you have the time and energy to take care of it.. it also depends on where you live, if you live in he city, its nota great idea, if you live in the country, its a great idea!! but dont put 2 roosters together, they'll fight and prolly kill each other! so get a female, so she can make more eggs to eat for breakfast and shes less likley to fight with another chicken than a male... good luck and Hope i helped! if ya need anything else drop it in the inbox!!

bAbYCHeeR792 answered Wednesday August 18 2004, 12:05 pm: They don't make good pets, but a pig will make a good pet. I always wanted a pig! My aunt use to live on a farm/own it, all they do is keep you up all night and they don't shut up. They also need a lot of room. And you would have to teach him to be potty trained. But they do give you food. [ bAbYCHeeR792's advice column | Ask bAbYCHeeR792 A Question ]

I have cock fights all the time.
They're highly illegal, but they're something to do on a sunday night.
LilMia811 answered Wednesday August 18 2004, 1:03 am: if you live on a farm, a chicken is fine for a pet. but if you live in like an apartment or something, it might not be such a good idea. [ LilMia811's advice column | Ask LilMia811 A Question ]
