*SIGH* We found Caspian. Dead. Hit by a car, as a matter of fact. What really gets me is he was about three feet from our house... he had been trying to come home! Any ideas on how to not become even more majorly depressed? (link)

hey,i know how you feel,i too have once had a dog who i love very much and she was killed by a car.i use to cry alot everytime i thought of her.but i had to move on.maybe if you get a new dog you can keep ur thoughts on it.or a new pet.or read books and keep ur mind in it.i know its hard.hope i helped -carolineh

My family adopted an adult cat, one year old, "Henry", to be friends with our lonely other one year old cat, "William". Both the cats are males. We've had Henry for three weeks, and he remains deathly afraid of everything. He braely eats, and hides under the bed. William visits him, and tries to play but Henry will not play, and runs away. We all have to keep incredibly quiet around the house, because loud noises scare the bejezus out of him. I want to make Henry feel more at home. What can I do? (link)

Hi im Shelly and Im 14. I have had pets before but they have died. I did at one point have 6 rabbits but 2 we gave to my dads friends daughters and the rest have died. I don't know why thought. We look after them well and dont treat them bad we give them plenty of exercise too but still they died. I have 1 rabbit now and she is 2. I have wanted a dog for ages but my mum won't let me have one. She said its because she doesn't want a dog in the house, but she loves my uncles dog loads. I am starting to think the reason is because she doesn't trust me to have anymore pets. plz help me to change my mums mind.

hey i understand wut ur going thru.
my mom thought i was irresponsible and then i found my best friend which was a boxer dog and she was my uncles.he lives write up a trail thru the woods frum me.and i always wud visit her.every afternoon he let her out her pen to play around.and she wud always come to my house.so he gave her to me.and we both loved each other.she was an amazing dog.my mom saw how responsible i was.when my dog got killed by a car my mom let me get another dog because she saw how responsible i was.so maybe if u just show your mom that you can be trusted she might let you get a puppy.hope i helped and im sorry this was so long. -carolineh

on of my turtles has a lil sratch on his shell...its not very big and hes not acting weird or anything...but i was just wondering if he can feel the sratch or if it hurts him...

hey,turtles cant feel wuts on their shell its hard,the shell if for protection and yes it is made onto their bodies but it is not a part of their bodies.their bodies are in the shell.the sheel is sort of like our fingernails.if you scratch them we cant feel it.hope it helped. -carolineh

CHICKENS ARE NOT GOOD PETS BELIEVE ME they smell and they use the bathroom on u and make to much noise and they r not very bright either and they will be mean to you if you dont get them when they r babies.hope it helps. -carolineh

Ok, my brother has a snake. She is a 1 year old ball python. Shes about 14 inches long. My question is, when shes in her cave, she likes to pick it up, and then crawl under it. Is this a normal thing? Shes not shedding, so that can't be why shes doing it. Sometimes she gets stuck, and goes to sleep while its laying on her. Is she going to be ok? (link)

hey,i love animals and i have spent alot of my life studing animals and most snakes like to be under stuff.if you go in the wild u can find snakes under rocks piles of stuff and anywhere that they can hide under.hope it helped.

My best friend and i are really really close at home... but not at school... she kinda ignores me. Its not as bad this year as it was last year... but it makes me feel really bad. I've tried to talk to her, but she just ignores it. Maybe i'm pmsing or something.... i don't know... advice would be great though! (link)

Dear i feel ignored by my best friend,if your friend acts like this at school and she ignores you on purpose than shes not a real friend.No friend should treat a friend like this.Have you told her how you feel?If you havent maybe you should.If she acts as if she doesnt care,then maybe you should start hanging out with another friend.dont allow her to act as if your nobody at school and then trick you into thinking your her friend at home.everyone is created equal and no one is better than anyone else.

Okay, there was this guy i saw around the school (G)who i thought was cute adn i asked one my firneds (B)if he was friends with him, and (B) sed sorta and he was gunna hook me up with him. (we had gone out in the past, (B)and i) and now he told me he can't hook me up n e more because he still likes me from wen we went out. Idk if i shoudl still go for (G) or reconsider this kid, even though right now i don't like him. Or if i should try and get with (G) even thoug i'd feel bad since (B)likes me. plz help (link)

Dear boy of boy,I know u will feel bad about it,but I say u should go with your heart.if you dont like (B)then u shouldnt have to got with him.go with your heart and there is always a good ending.But if you really do have feelings 4 (B) then maybe u should still go with him.all i can say is go with your heart.
