I have two horses that are the BEST of friends. You can't take one out of the pen without the other. They are stuck like glue, but one is 42 years old! really he is! and the other is at least 30. When one passes away, do you think we should put the other one down? I mean they are both already really old and I know that one would be in MISERY without the other. Just getting an idea if the event might arise. (link)

No way! You should just pay a whole lot more attention to the other horse. That would be mean to kill the other one because you think it would be sad. Yes the horse does have feelings and it would make the horse sad maybe, but you cant take away its life for that.

OK i think this is really sick, but for some reason, ionno why, but my dog love to sleep in the bathroom. I mean its not hurting me or anybody else. Can anybody enlighten me on why he does this every night? (link)

Your dog probably just has a new sense of exploration and wants to see what would happen. Maybe he finds something that could harm the family in the bathroom and he just wants to be there. Maybe he just wants to be away from the family at night. Its just normal dog behavior. Nothing to worry about. Dogs love to find one place in the house and sleep there every night for long periods of time and they switch every now and then.

I have a beautiful long-haired calico cat that I inherited when my grandmother passed away. I have had cats all my life and have other cats now also, but I've never had a long-haired cat before. I brush her quite a bit but she still regularly vomits the most disgusting hairballs I have ever encountered. I tried buying this hairball remedy paste stuff and have even bought the hairball rememdy treats, but she won't have anything to do with either of them. Does anyone who is familiar with long-haired cats have any other suggestions? (link)

There's really nothing you can do other than getting professional help, as in a veteranarian. I have a long haired cat and he doenst cough up hairballs hardly at all but he eats hairball treatment food. So your best advice would definately call a vet and verify that the treatments that youve tried on your cat didnt work.

I know how you feel! That has happened to me before. Ok so take your dog outside, on a leash or something if he isnt already and outside dog, and take him to the grass and just brush and brush. Its the best thing you can do unless you want to call a vet and ask.

Sure its okay to be around cats themselves. Just make sure you dont have any allergic reactions you dont know about that could harm the baby ahead of time.

i have these kids i babysit for, and i mean theyre okay and everything, but they dont listen!! i dont know what to do, i even take out my cell phone and pretend to call their moms! theres a 8 year old A.D.H.D. boy, a 4 year old girl, and an infant. i get paid 4$ an hour...does that seem like enough for what i have to deal with? Before you go judging what is right to do about money is far too ahead of other steps. First of all, dont think that the 4$ an hour is too little right now, because if you need the money then go ahead and continue unless you can find something better to work for. Now if you do continue this job, the kids that you babysit do have big mouths. hehe I know thats mean to say but in my past babysitting experiences, when you babysit a child that is loud like you described, they will end up telling their parents stuff that didnt happen. So you have to think out your consequences to their actions very carefully. Try to take away privalges they have for a certain amount of time. Yes I know that now all of this works with every child but try it. Try taking things away, and keeps on doing the 'call the mom' thing if it scares them.

Sorry this is long, ill rate high..
Theres a big football game tonight and i really wanna go watch, problem is my best friend is sick and im not really huge with having a bunch of girls who are friends cuz they run their mouths too much. But my boyfriend is a soccer player and his game isnt gonna get back until like the second half of the game. I was thinking about asking a couple of my guy friends but i dont know if thatd look right because they dont have girls and i know that one of them whos available tonight likes me in a more than friends sort of way. So do you guys think its ok that i go to the game with my guy friends or should i just wait for my boyfriend to get back from his soccer game and then go? (link)

I think that you should wait for your boyfriend because it would not only NOT destroy your reputation (if you care about that) it would also give you and your boyfriend more time together, which is always good in my opinion. I also think that it would be best to go with which ever feels right though.

For me my love life sucks. I have the most amazing friends, but i still wish I had someone to actually love.

The way to get a guy is not to flirt and just hope that they flirt back. Yes i know that it sounds like the perfect way to fall in love, but its not that cool. Trust me, there really isnt such thing as love at first sight either. You really should become friends with a person at first, and start talking and just be friends for a long time. It does take a while and it does sound like a long process but it just could be good for you in the future.

You need to tell him if he wants to be with you then he needs to accept you for who you are and not on what he assumes about you. just tell him that and if he cant accept it then you need to tell him to shoo fly.

ok.. basketball season's gonna start in 2 mthz.. im a grl.. bout 5'1" nd 115 lbs. im thinkin of tryin out 4 my freshman team.. shud i rilly tho? cuz i guess im just doubtin my abilities rite now.. my shootings a bit off.. but my defense is pretty good.. how i see it tho.. is that i cud just help in assists.. but idk.. do u kno how i cud get in shape in 2 mths tym nd ne basketball advice that u cud give me?

Trust me, if you love the game and your really into it, then you'll try out. You dont really have to worry about being in shape. Just do your best, maybe work out a little bit or run in the mornings or at night sometimes because it gets too hot during the day and you could overheat yourself. but if it makes you feel more confident about trying out then go ahead and work out a little bit. no health fitness ever hurt anybodys confidence.

Of course you can wash them. It all depends on what kind of kneepads they are. Ive been playing volleyball for a while now and unlike those other bozos that answered you, not EVERY pair will shrink.

Are there such things as a Junior Olympics? This girl on my basketball team claims she went to Athens for the Olympics, and since she's only 13/14 she would be too young to play for the USA Junior/Regular Woman's basketball olympic teams. My brother says that there is probably one for kids, but it's only a sideshow and no one really talks about it. I don't disagree but I just want to check it out and see if there was one... (link)

Yes there is a junior olympics, but i dont know about the whole athens greece thing. but you could maybe look it up on a search engine and it might give you a few websites to look that up on.

ok well there are always people sayin all this crap about me and i dont know why i havent done nething to these people and i dont know what their deal is. 4 ex~last night i was at the Fball game and i walked by a group of people that i used to go to school with i dont know them that well, weve nevr hung out and i havent done anything to them and well when i walked by they were all like ewwww get away from us and they began booing me and my friend and oh, thats not all.my friend,N, asked me to use his cell phone and my batt. had gone out so i was like sorry my batter is out and his friend comes up to me and goes "ur a f---ing hoar and im gonna beat ur @$$" and all for no reason i mean this guy probably doesnt even know my name!! How can i learn to not care or git these people to stop their trash talk!! PLEASSSSE HELP ME!!

have you told these people that you dont give a f*ck what they think of you? i would make that very clear, but knowing me id end up getting violence involved in it. so just tell them that you dont care what they say and they can be a$$ holes if they want. just try to go up to a new group of friends that you think these people havent affected already. try to make some new friends with people you barely know and who knows, maybe you could end up having a new clique!!

OK well I was in Science yesterday and we were taking a test and for the end of the test we had to go to these stations so this kid.... "A" was a little faster then me and so he was at the stations first so he finished first and I sit next to him so when I came back he asked me out, and ive only been asked out 1 time before and I kinda freaked out and just said no without really thinking about it and i wasn't totally sure if he was serious and now I do want to go out with him but my problems are I don't know how to bring it back up and i'm not sure if he was like kiddin or something please help!

hey i know how that feels. ok i know that it might seem really weird inside to bring something like that up. but ive done it before. ok just talk to him in private or something and then ask him about that question that he asked you a while back and say that youve been thinking about it alot. trust me it works because i did it! just think about it for about 1 or 2 min and then just go for it!!
