Basketball
I have played basketball all my life... it has become an every day thing for me ... every day i practice 4 to 6 hours a day... This year for some reason Im confused about wanting to play or not...I played this summer with our towns varsity and want it to stay that way, but if i end up of JV i will be really depressed like last year should i still play even if it means being on JV?

You shouldn't decide whether or not to play the game you love based on what year you're going to play for. You should play because you love to play the game. I would be happy to play on any team so long as I got to play. I think that playing on JV could have advantages too. If you played on varsity you might not get as much floor time as you will on JV. Just think about it. Play basketball to play and because that's what you like to do. Don't second guess the game because of the team you'll be playing for. ~*CaSSiE*~

yeah buster cuz u at least ull play n maybe the nest year ull make it but u seem good but like me i play ball but it anit my life girls r my life n i play better when girls r there but rather play then not

hey if you love the sport dont leave it! no matter how good or bad you are! I have been playing hockey for 15 years now...in hs i was on varsity all 3 years i was there. I have many scolarships but decided to join the Marine Corps and i still play. If you love the sport don't leave it!

You sound just like me, but if you truly love the sport like I do, then go for it. I play on JV and swing V, and I have to admit that I really enjoy JV because we all just have a lot of fun doing what we do, so go for it and have a good time!

heck yeah you should still play if you enjoy the game!! but first off, don't let your hopes down on varsity yet, and even if you don't make varsity, then you'll probably play more and be a star on jv!!

well if you just love to play then it shouldnt matter whether you are on varsity or not. but the choice is up to you. if you dont feel like playing anymore then dont, but if you really want to then play. no one can make this choice for you, you have to.

basketball is a great sport my favorite ever JV is very competitive and a great time i would stay with you and keep practiceing cuz practice makes perfect

Keep playing because it looks like basketball has become a huge part of your life now and if u stop just because u rn't on the best team u mite b missing out on somthing really good. I think u should stick with it.

i think u should cuz believe it or not im goin thru that same problem... i love basketball n i play it everyday, and this year i kno that i wont play varsity cuz like everyone else is like 6'6 but i kno im good enuff. So i kno that im gonna play JV even tho im gunna be ajunior cuz i love the game so much that it doesnt matter to me what im on as long as im playin the gae, so if u truly luv the game u should go for it. $M$

o wow....im kinda going through the same thing about not knowing if i wanna play or not. if you love the sport play. who cares if your on jv. you have to start somewhere. you cant always expect to be on the varsity team all your life. cuz it prolly wont happen. sry if this seems meen but its the truth. and i dont want to lie to u...i hope i helped....

if you love bball then keep doin your thing. if you practice that much you'll most likely get on varsity... but really keep doin what you love!! don't let it go! good luck! i hope you make it on varsity!

if you really love the sport and give it your all you should definitely play even if it means being on the JV team!! if you love then i say GO FOR IT!! :)

yeah i think that you should i mean if you honestly love the sport and everything then you shouldnt just give up just because you will play on JV or nething and all i mean if you work your ass off at practice and everything then you will play varsity and all but more and lkly you will neway
