Am I fat?

Iam 15 years old, 5'2 and i weigh 121 pounds,am i fat or over weight? How can i lose weight? Please help!

u can loose weight by going on a diet!! eating salad instead of wut u normally eat w/e that iz iz alwayz good. but u might not like salad {{lol. nether do i}} well u might like it u might not well trying not to eat as much as u normally do helps. like i dk if u do this but sum ppl eat little snacks in between lunch and dinner or between breakfeast and lunch. well if u do that try not to. and looking at the calories on stuff helps too. try at the begin {{if u take my advice}} not to eat anything over 120 calories. o n i dont think 121 pounds @ 15 and being 5'2" iz fat. it might take a while to loose sum weight but dont let it get to u. good luck {{not that u need it}} :-D. if u need anything else ask mii another question. hope i helped. <3 xogiggles37xo.

No! you arent over weight at all i think that is the range you are supposed to be in! that is good but if you arent satisfid with yourself excerise and eat right the HEALTHY way like have morning jogs or eat fruites and vegtables! I really dont think you're overweight... But, If you are uncomfortable with your body... Exercizing is a great way and not even that much... And eat wisely. I mean Eat 3 meals a day... Eat a nice break fast (speeds up metabolisim), a normal lunch, and a mornal dinner... If you snack try to snack healthy... And try not to snakc much after dinner or at night... As for exercising it can be jogging a block or two... to swimming laps... and do crunches, lunges, pushups, before bed, or before shower... Or when you're bored... Just little stuff... What ever you do, Don't resort to eating disorders, They mess you up more then help you I promise... I hope all goes well... If you have any Questions... Feel free to ask :) Best wishes!

your bmi (body mass index) is 22.1; here's how BMI stacks up... Below 18.5 is Underweight, 18.5 through 24.9 is Normal, 25.0 through 29.9 is Overweight, and
30.0+ is Obese. if you want to see for yourself, go to [Link](Mouse over link to see full location) again, your bmi is 22.1, which means you are normal! not overweight!!!

noo....im the same way your not fat at all and only about 20% of your body is fat and the rest is like muscle and bone.....if you feel you want to llose somthing tho just like go running or do crunches or just dont eat every time your hungry.skip a few snacks

No your not over weight. That is the avrage weight for a 15 year old! If your over 125 that is a little over weight, and less than 105 is kina too skinny. I dont think you need to worry about losing weight, but if you really want to, I'd suggjest not eatting fatty foods like french fries, hamberurgs and things with a lot of carbs. Try eating more healthy food like fruit and veggies but still get your meat. Also you can excerzie. Just by swiming, going on a tramoline or playing a sport can help. Hope I helped. -Jenny

I calculated your BMI *Body Mass Index* which generally tells you if you are underweight, normal, or overweight. Good news! You are normal, your BMI came out to 22.1!
Underweight would be below 18.5
Normal is between 18.5-24.9
Overweight is 25-29.9
And obesity is 30 or greater.

The best way to lose weight is to eat your veggies and fruits and stop consuming so much junk food and soda. To lose weight, stop drinking soda TODAY. Also, you need to excercise daily. That means running, walking, weights, arobics, pilates, yoga, swimming, dancing, or even walking up and down stairs.

well ur tall thats one of the things it makes u weight a lot but it doesnt makes u fat but if u wanna loose weight u could try runnnig a lot or take up a lot of after skool sports like soccor or field hockey or if u have a bike u could bike ride and stuff and u have to eat right everyday no more junk food and drink a lot of water

NO YOUR NOT FAT AT ALL! Sweetie you have nothing to worry about. You are about the perfect size, if you want to tone things up you can do sit ups and do like wall sits (if you are unsure about wall sits you put your back aginst the wall and act like you are sitting in a chair... works your legs like major!) hi, hmm i dont think ur over weight...i think ur thick...being thick is not being over weight...its just normal...not skinny but not fat either...dats perfect size...if u wanna lose weight dont lose more then like 5 pounds..or more then 10...i dunno but in my likes...i dont want 2 be WAYYYYYY 2 skinny :) if u wanna lose weight n do it quick start eating healthy...like vegetables...salads...fruits..etc...and exercise at least 20 min a day :) xoxo effy

no not at all u are not fat i am 240 and i think i am fat but so what i am happy about it. and u sould be happy about the way u look. i am gonna be 15 sep.9th and i think i look fat but who cares i dont all u need is the rite attuide about your self thats all that u need! u are not fat u are probly beautiful. and 121 is about averag for a 15 year old any way!

Umm No, Sweetie you are not fat geeze im only 14, I am 5'6 and weigh 95..And thats small but if you feel your fat just eat the right nutition and run lots n lots, and excersise everyday!

actually, i looked up your bmi (body mass index) online and yours is 22.1, which is definitely in the normal weight range -- so you are NOT fat!! but if you want to tone up, then maybe you should get a membership to a gym or do some exercising at home ~ i can give you specific exercises if you pinpoint the body parts that you want to work on, so ask me if you want more help! xoxo meg
