blackmamba answered Sunday August 1 2004, 2:49 am: theres a brand called bikini zone and it has bikini shave cream specially designed for shaving and then they have a cream for after you shave that prevents ingrowns. it really works, i reccomend it. oh and make sure the last thing you do in the shower is shave, it opens the follicles better. BaBii_Dancer answered Sunday August 1 2004, 2:39 am: Never take a hot shower after shaving your bikini line. That also creates those bumps. Take a shower in warm water but warm water that quickly turns to cold water. Also use lotion right after. That will help those red bumps not appear. Good Luck!!
LilMia811 answered Saturday July 31 2004, 11:27 pm: they are not ingrown hair... they are razor bumps... wait til they go away and the next time you shave uses plenty of shaving cream and put lotion on it after you are down [ LilMia811's advice column | Ask LilMia811 A Question ]
Sexybabii9095 answered Saturday July 31 2004, 11:24 pm: i get them all the time and they hurt me!, While your shaving, you need a sharp razor, shaving gel and hot water, but when your done and out of the shower, put some lotion on it. Sometimes if i get sick of it hurting, ill just let it grow in two days, unless theres, other reasons not to, and then shave it, it gives it a chance to grow in, and its easier to shave the longer you let it grow, thats why ya dont shave during your period cuz no ones gonna see it anyway, then it gives it a long time to grow in lol [ Sexybabii9095's advice column | Ask Sexybabii9095 A Question ]
spacefem answered Saturday July 31 2004, 11:01 pm: Waxing isn't as bad as it sounds, you can even get kits at k-mart or whatever. It's nice because then you don't have to worry about anything for like a month.

hErEtoheLp answered Saturday July 31 2004, 9:31 pm: It's normal to get those bumps, you're just shaving in the wrong direction, and it's also probably razor burn, you when you get them on your legs too, don't forget to use soap. But also go in the opposite direction from the direction you normally go in...uh, if that makes sense. [ hErEtoheLp's advice column | Ask hErEtoheLp A Question ]
