just try to be nice to everyone, dont talk about anyone but dont suck up. if you make about 7-10 really good friends you should be ok. people wont pick on you if they dont have a good reason so dont give them one. but remember: dont let them walk all over you. do something spontanious to show them you are cool.

Okay... This is going to be my last year of high school! It goes by so fast, some subjects can be difficult... but some freshmen do end up getting picked on!

it depends on what highschool you go to. every year there will be a different crowd of people so you never really know until you get there. my best advice is that you should just not worry about it. if you get to highschool and you're having problems, go to a teacher or a parent..they will help you. GOOd luck!

high school is so much fun! its a little scary at first but then you get to know the teachers, where everything is and you meet new people! you'll definately make a lot of new friends. people will call you the usual nicknames for freshmen but its all in good fun! good luck & have fun!!

well i guess most high school are the same..idk. if they r like mine it's decent. u can do more things than u could in m.s n there is more to choose from at lunch. no one will pick on you..i mean they might call u a lil freshie or sumthin but u get to do that when ur a senior. haha. it's harder than m.s. i guess it's funner...idk, school isn't to fun for me..so that's up to u

High school is a mix of both hard and fun. I just started last year. lol. You should join clubs so you can meet new people and make friends. And, I'm not saying someone won't pick on you, because it seems to happen a lot with other people, but remember rumors are stupid. lol. Have fun on your first day! =)

Well, I thought freshman year sucked 'cause all of a sudden, they piled all this work on me!
But I did make friends. The bullying should lessen a LOT in high school. There's also less focus on popularity and style and stuff like that.
In middle school, your reputation is, like, everything. In high school, at least for my high school, it barely ever comes into play. I had fun in my freshman year, aside from all the work.
No reason to be scared. Go in there with a positive attitude and you should be fine. ^_^

omg..high school is sooo much fun, BUT so much drama...avoid it. dont go around sticking ur nose in other peoples business and juss keep to urself and try and have fun! its a blast =D

I'll be a sophmore...and for my freshman year it was just the same as jr high just a little bit more freedom. You will meet new people and its funner to see new faces everyday instead of the same old people! Just be yourself and you'll have fun!!!

High school is definitely better than middle school. You have a little bit more freedom. It is harder than middle school that's for sure but you'll have fun and the next few years you have in school will go by fast so have fun while you can. Also, you will definitely meet new people and make friends. People may or may not pick on you. Who knows? But be bigger and better than them and don't stoop to their level. Just ignore it! lol highschool is kickass. dont be scared at all. i was scared the first day cause u always hear about the freshman being picked on and everything being hard..bullshit. i didnt get picked on a single time and i think i only had homework like three times the whole yr. but i was also in all regulars..and i hear that changes too once u move up. its really fun and everything is so much different than all that middle school bullshit thank god. people are way more grown up in highschool and easier to get along with too. ur gonna make tons of new friends..just dont go in scared..they smell fear haha

i was nrvous 2 when i started but trust me u will love it....they give u so much more freedom then middle skool and u will make a lot of friends cuz u have diff. pple in each class...and u should just get involved in sports or clubs and go 2 the football and basketball games with friends and stuff!!!!

i cant tell you if your gonna make friends, but most likely you will, theres alot of people in highschool and alot of groups of people, theres alot of after school activities to do witch keeps you busy. as long as you go in with a good attitude and a nice personality youll be fine. your classes are supposed to be also set for your learning levels so it should be challenging but not deadly, less you have honors classes, they give alot of homework lol, but were all nervouse, i was really, because i had trouble making friends, but i turned out okay
