I have auburn/light brown hair and I want to temporarily dye it. I've been told Kool-aid will work on blonde hair.. but will it work on darker hair? My natural color is almost black... so that might have an effect too....
What color of kool-aid should I use on my hair.... and will the kool-aid wash out...
my parents wont let me dye my hair permanently again... so I need something that will wash out in the next day or two....
Try using spray-on dyes that wash out with shampoo - it's basically a hard and colored hairspray, and not permanent at all. Sometimes you can find them at gag/gift/costume shops. [ Ronlina's advice column | Ask Ronlina A Question ]

So, if you're looking for something that's temporary, look for that word on the box of hair dye. If you're going for the crazy colors, then use something cheap that washes out fast. But if you want a sort of natural color, you can actually get your hair dyed temporarily at a salon if you want it done right. That lasts about a month but fades back into your natural hair color. xoAmy answered Tuesday July 27 2004, 12:36 pm: my sister died her hair with cool aid, but she has dirty blonde hair, and she died it red and it looked good BUT it only tinted her hair, and it smudged all over her bed sheets and it's REALLY REALLY MESSY! and the second that water touched her hair, it washed out. NOT a good idea to do it with coolaid. you can go to a lot of hair stores or drug marts, and there are temporary hair dyes there, some that last a month and some that last just a week. go searching around and you'll find something! but your natural colour probably looks the best on you!:D i hope i helped!:D good luck [ xoAmy's advice column | Ask xoAmy A Question ]
pinkdevilx answered Tuesday July 27 2004, 12:32 pm: I wouldn't use kool-aid on your hair if I were you, If tou just want temporary color for a few hours, I would suggest using the spray cans, because those are guaranteed to wash out..
Just_Being_True answered Tuesday July 27 2004, 12:32 pm: Well, I really don't reccomend kool-aid. B/c my hair person told me it dyes your scalp. So long after it comes out of your hair...your scalp will still be red, orange, purple, etc. So i suggest you get some hair spray on color or paint-on at the drugstore.

GC_rox_my_sox answered Tuesday July 27 2004, 12:28 pm: I don't think that kool-aid will work for your hair. Red MIGHT work, so try that, but I'm not positive. There is other temporary hair dye sold in stores, there is one brand that has a lot of bright colors like green, blue, red, purple, and more.
