check to make sure a rock or something like that isnt stuck in her hoof.. if you cant find anything wrong with her, try to raise money take her picture and put it a tack store, or a per store with a coffee can or something to put money in like a fund raiser, on the picture, add a piece of paper at the bottom stating her name, the problem, and why your raising money. have fun!
Hope i helped! if ya need anything else just drop it in the inbox!!

You need to take her to the vet. Raise the money, get it from your parents, or take her to a free pet clinic. This could be serious.

you could always resort to research, in books or online. your horse could be lame, and horse can and cannot recover from lameness. make sure he is alone in a paddock, so that other horses cannot provoke him to run. also dont ride him or make him run. please try asking your parents/supervisor for help. if you own the horse at your home, it could be worse. you really need a vet, do anything you can to get money for the vet. you may not have time to save up for it, but ask for help from family members.

best wishes for your horse, please come to me for anymore advice, i'll b here to help :). I know how it feels to have a horse that is sick...

she might have something in her hoof on the foot she is limping on...check and get it out if there is something in it and if not then feel her leg for any welps or bumps that the other legs dont have...and if it doesnt get better in a few days i would say that you need to get her to the vet...just ask your parents for a little money to help out your horse...trust me...even though you might not have money now its better to have no money then have no horse...i have 3 myself and one of them was limping a few weeks ago...i took him to the vet and it turns out he got bit by a snake and he is fine now but its a good thing i took him b/c he couldve really gotten sick...so let me know if i can help anymore and just drop ur ?s in my box!

Check her foot for rocks or other debris. If your horse has been eating alot of grass lately she may have foundered. Foundering is when the pad of the foot becomes to soft.

Ask someone professional at your barn what they think is wrong. If they tell you that you HAVE to see the vet then ask your mom or dad to loan you money and tell them you will pay them back as soon as you can make that money for them. B/c as the horses owner you are obligated to take care of her if she might be sick. She may just be lame.....

*pls* rate me thx :-D

xo_dream answered Tuesday July 20 2004, 8:52 pm:
You really need to call a vet. Maybe you can work out some kind of payment plan with them or get your parents to pay for it, because otherwise you'll never really know, and you can't fix her by yourself.

I don't know much about horses...but maybe you could ask your parents to pay for the Vet bill. It'll be a little pricey, but you need to tell them that your horse means a lot to you, and you'll pay them back. Maybe she's just getting old sweetheart. I feel really bad, but if you could talk to your parents about the bill, or just doctor her up by yourself, maybe some TLC(tender loving Care) Till then..I hope I helped..I'll pray for her. <3 Have a good day!
