You are definitely underweight for your height and this is messing w/your body in a way that you are no longer having a period, you should see a gynecologist and gain some weight before you do more damage. If you continue to lose weight or maintain this weight you could also stunt your growth and do major organ damage. Please seek out professional medical advice and don't rely on this column, people giving advice around here are not much older than you and can only say what they think-a doctor is much more sound advice than random columnists. SeXyLaCi_XoX answered Thursday July 22 2004, 7:07 pm: Your weight loss might have something to do with it. Or you might just be irregular. Most people start out being irregular like that. If you'd like you could talk to your Mom about it or the doctor. You probably have nothing to worry about!
endilwen answered Wednesday July 21 2004, 8:51 am: Hey!
Your body is still settling down, and getting used to regular periods. I missed two or three months worth of periods when I first started, and then I started getting them every fortnight, and then they settled down into a regular pattern. Try not to worry about it, but if you'd like some medical advice I suggest going to see your doctor. [ endilwen's advice column | Ask endilwen A Question ]

PepeLePew answered Tuesday July 20 2004, 7:02 pm: You height or weight has nothing to do with it. That stuff happens when you start, so don't worry. At three months pregnant, there should be a bit of a stomach.
Here is an archive of a woman named Tiffany when she was pregnant - all fine for veiwing.

ShOrTnSwEeT42094 answered Monday July 19 2004, 11:51 pm: Sudden weight loss can definetely have an effect on your periods. So can being sick,or having any kind of infection in your system.I would make an appointment with the gyno,or even your regular doctor to see what's going on.They may want to run some tests to check out everything. But don't worry yourself too much, having irregular and spuratic periods is common among young girls, and especially when you've really only begun having periods recently. The doctor may put you on the pill to help regulate your periods.Be sure and let your doctor know about your weight loss,if he/she hasn't already noticed it.You're quite skinny for your height. So the doc may want to check into that as well.To sum it all up:get yourself to the doctor!!!Hehe! :) [ ShOrTnSwEeT42094's advice column | Ask ShOrTnSwEeT42094 A Question ]

Lizzy answered Monday July 19 2004, 8:04 pm: I didn't have my period for six months, so i know how you feel. Make sure you drink lots of water, and dance a lot!!! After i danced for eight hours one day it came (of course i usually dance 3 hours a day so you won't have to do as much) another thing, eat more fats, not more carbs, but like meats and stuff

xHeartxOfxGoldx answered Monday July 19 2004, 7:49 pm: Okay well your 14 if you first got your period in 2002 you must have been 12. And according to doctors its normal for an irregular period up to the first 2-3 years you start your period. If you have basically been normal until then maybe you should talk to your doctor or ask your mother or another adult about the problem.
