Just a few pounds

Question Posted Monday July 19 2004, 12:51 am

I'm 13 and I weigh 126 pounds. I would like to weigh 110, and I really need a way to know how I could lose just a few pounds. My friends know me as the big eater. I'm not fat, actually I look very thin, but my stomach is a little bigger than I'd like for it to be. Some1 please help!

Run/jog/walk daily but do crunches to those are very helpful or you could go to the gym-trix

Mel answered Monday July 19 2004, 10:54 am:
This is NOT a hard question at ALL to answer! (thank you.) Okay, you need to know that water is KEY. you are supposed to drink 8 glasses or water a day. it stops hunger pains, and it quinches your thirst! there --you've killed two birds with one stone! yes! NOW!... you can jog every other day, you can do sit ups every other day, whatever you want! it's ALL up to you. but remember: it's not how much you weigh, it's how you LOOK. and if you look good, you'll feel good, which keeps you happy and you live longer. if you're skinny, i wouldn't worry about it too much. you're still 13, and as you get older the extra weight evaporates as it is. don't waste too much time on your weight, or you'll miss a lot of good things. good luck.

hey!!! do crunches, cut carbs like bread and pasta, go on walks, run, dance, run on a treadmill, and stuff like that. just don't get too obsessed with dieting because that spells trouble. i wish you the best of luck. send me a message if you need anything else.

If you dont think you`re fat but you have a little bit of a belly, Go for run`s and do about 100 sit-up`s a night. Start eating healthier, cut back junk foods and soda pop. I know its hard but it`s totally worth it trust me. Good luck.

Lizzy answered Monday July 19 2004, 2:14 am:
I think it's really mean your friends call you the big eater. If it's just your stomach, while you do situps (do them in the morning to get the adrenoline going for the whole day) put your legs straight up in the air and that excersices most parts of the stomach. Do about thirty every morning for two weeks, and eat like you normally do, you should feel it tighten up a lot.

Well, the obvious answer is to cut down on the bad food. Eat more protein and less carbs. Start running and you should drop the weight in a couple of months. In addition to looking thinner, you'll feel better. Don't cut out the bad food entirely, but just cut back.

Mackenzie answered Monday July 19 2004, 1:46 am:
Try jogging. You can't go wrong with jogging. It targets many areas, such as your upper arms, legs, thighs, stomach and butt. Also, crunches will probably work well for your tummy. Just try to dedicate some time to this each day, and it's be best to watch what you eat. I'm not saying stick to salads... just.. don't have that bowl of ice cream.. refuse that piece of cake. And drop soda and stick to water -- that alone will be very beneficial! Goodluck!!

Well, depending on how tall you are,you might be in just the right weight range!! The key with eating is not to starve yourself, but to eat several small meals throughout your day.Just grab little snacks like a handful of chips,or a handful of strawberries.Whatever you like to eat! ;) To tone up your abs and stomach muscles,sit-ups and crunches are great to do!!Start out slow and work your way up to a larger number per day. Also,ab rollers are great!! Even celebs like Janet Jackson, and Britney Spears use them, and we all know they have great abs!!;) Hope I could help you some!!!

Find a diet that is right for you and stick to it for a while. Also, situps are very good at toning your abdominal muscles. Also try some crunches, they'll work wonders! Hope I helped.
